Thank you for watching lovely, don't forget to like this video and subscribe this way I know which videos to create to help you more 😍
My great grandmother would love your advice! I remember, when I was 6 years old, her saying, “You never go to bed with the stink of the day on you.”
Love this tropical climate advice! Please keep it coming. Those of us who live in these places are left out when it comes to practical style advice for blistering hot climates. Merci!!
More to come!
Please, keep the hot weather style advice coming! The many of us who live in hot places are always looking for guidance. There are many influencers that give style advice for cooler weather areas, but most of those clothes we can only dream about since it is not our reality. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Will do!
Thank you for those tips! Even though I live in Montreal (Canada) our summers can be very hot and humid. I use the KonMari folding method for all my drawer clothes so I can easily see what I have without lifting everything. I hang everything else. Tip for your hats - use unused cake boxes. They won’t last forever but will prevent dust from settling on the hats. I really like your short hair, very flattering.
I also organize all my clothing by color first, and then types of clothing within each color 🤭 It makes me feel happy to open my closet and see everything so orderly! Life may be messy at times, but my wardrobe is definitely organized.
You're very authentic...thanks for sharing.
My pleasure 😊
Sacramento, Calif here. 104 today. Yikes I'll take any and all tips! Thanks
Will be in Bali next month. Edith from New Zealand. xx
Bras without padding. Padding is unnecessary heat holding garments in hot weather. I prefer dress in the heat too
Me too
So glad you are feeling better and giving us your amazing style advice again! Missed you a lot!
I used to keep my clothes seasonally (cold weather in trunk while warm out in drawers or hung up, and vice versa, but as I marched toward menopause, I needed to keep more warm weather clothing and fewer cold weather items. So I utilized the Marie Kondo method and keep them all out all the time-organized by color first, then lightest (summery) to heaviest (wintery). The clothes in my chest of drawers are all folded her way as well, so I can see everything I have at a glance without disturbing any clothes in that drawer. I absolutely love my clothes being organized this way. Thank you for being so transparent with your clothing storage! Seeing yours made me realize how much I really need to update my undergarments…Oh also, I have the same chest of drawers from IKEA and love them!
I keep body care products, like expensive scrubs and body butters/lotions that contain oil in my fridge to prevent stinky rancidity. Products last much longer.
Ahh this was so fun! Thank you. My closet is very organized as well, I can find anything in the dark even haha. I like to keep things simple, I like to travel & having a simple wardrobe helps me do that easily. You help me understand how to do this well, thank you.
Love that!
Hi Frédérique,, I haven’t watched the video yet, just want to say you look so bright and beautiful in the colorful top!!! I’ve never seen you in bright colors and you look fabulous…Of course you always look beautiful ❤love to you ..I hope you are well. I hope you’re happy to be in Bali.❤❤❤❤
She goes boheminan :D
Oh thank you!
We have separate winter & summer wardrobes in Ireland 🇮🇪 as well. I love that coloured top on you ❤
I keep my shirts, jeans and dresses by color and by style in my wardrobe too
Love that!
Here in New York our weather is bi polar lol so for me I do organize my clothes by color and seasons but all week we’ve been having a bad heat wave so lately I’ve been wearing loose dresses with sandles thank you Frederique for sharing ❤❤
I hang my clothes on a hanger facing the opposite way after I wear them, that way it’s easy to challenge myself to wear things I have not worn yet. If a hanger doesn’t get turned for a year, I know I need to let that item go. I’m constantly cleaning items out. I have too much of everything because I live in a 4 season state and I have multiple roles to fill. Storage and organization is a constant struggle.
Every season, I have a full garbage bag of clothing/items that are to be donated. Hubby has added to my mix.
That's a great idea!
I live in Puerto RIco, tropical climate year long. THe temperatures in the last two year are higher than usual and you have to be protected from the sun at all times. You cannot leave the house without sunscreen and I started to wear a hat as well more often now. Great tips Thanks!
I enjoyed this very much. I love seeing how you store your clothing. I would like to have a room just for my clothes. I think having clothes on an open rack is such a good idea. My clothes are stuffed in a closet.
When choosing outfits for the week is helpful to have a clothes rack. I choose even the shoes. I’m not a morning person so it makes me be more efficient in the morning.
You can do it!
I also live in a very hot climate. We had 40 degrees earlier this year and are expecting 40/ 45 degrees in July August.
It is very difficult to look nice or wear makeup. I don't even wear my silver jewellery because the sweat makes it go black.
I love color on you. Thank you. Happiness is the best way to Look beautiful. Thank you for All the advices. 😊🎉
You are so welcome!
Hi Frederique! I live in Austria so I do nearly the same thing as you talked about when living in Paris. I swap winter and summer clothes - the current seasons clothes are in my wardrobe (sorted by colour, type etc) and the other seasons clothes go into a wardrobe in my cellar. It sounds like we are both neat freaks 😊. I have to have everything very orginised otherwise I am not happy and like you said, it saves time when getting dressed. Thanks for sharing, and by the way, I love that colourful outfit, it´s seldom for you not to wear something neutral. Looking forward to your next video. A big hug from a distance, Daniela
I live in a much cooler climate, ie the UK. Like yourself I think keeping yourself well hydrated is essential 🙂
Love listening... great tips
Glad you enjoyed!
Great idea to put sheet masks in the fridge! I will definitely try that! I organize my drawers using the Kon Mari method of folding in thirds and the clothes stand up so you can see all the items in a column. It works great for me!❤
Great idea!!
Wow, you sure live a wonderful life, even if it's in a hot climate. I enjoyed what you do on a day to day basis and how your organize your clothes and skin care, then getting dressed up to go out to a bar and see your friends. My skin care products are in a big cupboard near my small bathroom. The cupboard faces away from any window light so my makeup stays cool and fresh.. I do live in sunny state (not Florida) so I'm always concerned about my skin routine in the summer, and deciding on what to wear each day. You sound happy, and look stylish and pretty as always.
Thank you from Florida! 🥵 Excited to check out shop with Freddie. 😎
Hope you enjoy it!
I am in Thailand. I have found it very difficult to know how to dress for work and in a stylish way. (In my home country I love cozy layers.) Here I wear a lot of tanks with flowy shirt over the top and linen pants, shorts, or dresses. Sometimes I can find something made for beachwear but it looks nice and not cheap while still being light and cool. I have a problem with jewelry tarnishing quickly. Do you have tips for accessories and keeping them nice in hot places? Love your channel. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing!
🙏😇❤️❤️❤️ Thank you
I had that same IKEA drawer !!! Everything would fit …
Perfect!
Can you tell me a makeup look that is minimal and does not melt off in humidity! Thank you 🇨🇦
Yes of course!
Yes I too keep all my clothes organized by color and also hats, tops, pants then shoes and bags . Some what OCD lol. Today it is 95 and 110% humidity here so its a tank dress and flip flops I miss my jeans too Have a beautiful week say hydrated my friends.
Bonjour Frederique. We have had a heatwave of 40c each day here in my part of Canada. So I drank lots of lemon water and pulled out my linen for the day. I always learn lots from your videos❤
Howdy, is the lemon water bad for your teeth?
@@dianejones4276 Hello, we haven't had any problems. We use it very sparingly.
@@dianejones4276 Hello, we haven't had any problems.
I always have refreshing tissues and small deodorant in my bag in case I’m on the „road“ the whole day and don‘t have access to a shower.
Love your look today, the top, necklace and your bang curl-feminine!
Do you have a link for the top/dress that you’re wearing in the video?
I love this. I live in Louisiana which is hot and humid. I need ideas for this as it’s 95 now feels like 106. But this is just the beginning it will be so much hotter soon. Dresses, linen, skirts with T-shirt looks amazing on you. I need a mirror, I separate by favorites. I love gray.
Go for it!
Love watching your content, thanks 👍
When in Bali I live in denim shorts and linen or cotton shirts. It's definitely too hot to dress up there 🙂
So true!
"Tanks" for your great organizational skills. I also luv coconut water in the summer but I think that it may contain too much sugar for me.
We dilute our coconut water with 1/3 coconut water, 1/3 juice and 1/3 water.
I have a little makeup fridge in my bathroom to keep my skincare items cool. I live in a hot climate too but we do have air conditioning.
I so want one!
@@ms.frederique they're available on Amazon!
@@rosej9686 yes I know but cannot be delivered in Bali
Great 👍 job explaining your routine. I am glad you’re short because I’m only 5’ tall. Love 💕 your content.
Love 💕 and Hugs. 💙💙💙
Thank you so much!! love xxx
Allo, du Canada :) Seems very hot in Bali.
❤
Have you been there during the wer season yet? That's fun too. Also, be sure to wear clothes in good rotation so they all get used and washed before having a chance to get mold smell if living without air conditioning 😂😂❤🎉
Yes I have everything is dump hahahha
Best way to keep urself fresh if u bring thermal water from the pump and pour it into or blowed up pool and just relax. Or at night u open the windoes, daytime u cover them with dark curtain keep the house cool. Eat a lot of watermelon! :)
Great tip!
I knew what are you talking about riding a scooter I have done the same as you for over 30 years with shoes glasses a helmet, and also a leather jacket that saved my life. I found in your video that we do the same i am living in a very hot country most of the year so I have just like you some products in the fridge😃😉🥰
Exactly!
I miss your videos. with some of your great healthy cooking ( food) inspiration in your kitchen. Could you make a new one? 🙂❤️
I don’t cook 😂
In France how much does a jeans cost??
I thought you live in Australia?
i moved to bali :)
Freddy, at least we didn’t see any underpants with big holes or stains in them….You inspired me to drink coconut 🥥 water today!
hahahaha
Love from Egypt very hot here
Errata : Tips that work. Le collier serre trop.
Uuuuu what is this many colour on u? No French minimalism? No blaser? No shirt? No black colour? :O
Plain, old cornstarch is great for under the boobies and derrière to absorb moisture and helps chafing! 👍🙋♀️🇺🇸🥰‼️
Tips work, not works = plural verb please
You don’t have to correct my second language. I do my best and if you don’t like it then…. Don’t watch it. Have a good day!
I live in Québec Canada, the summer kicks in last week with 35 plus humidex... i feel realy good in loose dress, nothing close to my skin especially to the belly zone. I only wear concealer ( dark cercles oblige ) and "nude red" lips stick. My organisation is almost the same as yours. My favorite threat to keep me cool is sorbet ( purée de fruits glaçés). 🌞🌡🍧 Ciao ciao!
Hi Frederick I follow your videos all the time they are so helpful I noticed a while ago you moved to Bali I am considering that myself I would love to be able to chat with you about that if possible I have made one contact there and hope to visit within the next few months. I am just researching any tips would be helpful I could send you my email or phone number if you would be open to some ideas. There is nothing left for me here and I have a thing about Bali forever and I'm feeling I should follow it. I did that when I left the east coast and moved to Colorado 30 years ago and it feels like history is repeating itself. So I am consistently tapping into things for information. Thank you your videos are great
