Frédérique, you are a rare gem. There are few bloggers who talk about reality, whatever your income is, if you aren’t an heir to millions you struggle a lot! Doesn’t matter what your job is, life is tough for everyone except some crazy Instagram bloggers who seem to spend thousands of dollars each day just on clothes and makeup.
Everyone online keeps saying that skinny jeans are out. Yet in real life, everyone is still wearing them (at least in the US). Yes, I wear wider legged jeans as well, but I am not giving up my skinny jeans. 😄 I look great in them, and they work better with some outfits. I have my own personal style. I don't follow all trends. I wear what looks good on me.
I love accents and yours is wonderful. My dad has a southern Tennessee accent. You have given me alot of great information. I still like the skinny jeans no matter if in style. I have watched at least 10 of your videos in last 2 days. I am 71 and love dressing nice and feminine since I was a nurse and always had to wear a uniform. So thank you for all you have taught me.
I remember a few years ago I was scouring RUclips for videos about how to look more feminine, and there really wasn't much out there. So its refreshing to see that you have made such a video. Thank you. ❤
Hi Frederique from Australia, love this video. More Feminine .. always great for us ladies. All outfits looks really good. As a woman of 70 years old, high heels are not for me any more but I love dresses and skirts especially with nice waist line and spaghetti traps. It has been so wonderful to see this summer ladies wearing dresses because previous year it was short, pants and the unisex look, which I don't like at all, and tailoring makes clothes look so much better.
Great video. I still wear skinny jeans and I feel super feminine. I do not follow trends. I just wear what makes me feel elegant and feminine. And they will come back. Everything does!
Your video shows how easy it is to dress feminine and womanly ❤ and if we are not careful, frumpy and masculine . Thank you for modeling your cute outfits…love the black linen dress, white ruffle blouse and the black/white top
Thanks to your advice I have just managed a holiday (from 8-25 degrees) with 2 pairs of trousers, 2 T shirts, crew necked sweater, cashmere cardigan, pashmina and one pair of shoes. Everything worked with each item so it could have been 30 items - it looked so complimentary. Like the idea of 'feminine fabrics' as if the fabric is stiff and heavy - then I feel like a workman!
Like ok at you wearing white and color! Tres chic! I love wearing joggers with heels. I like the juxtaposition of something casual with something dressy! ❤
Great advice as always! My closet is like a puzzle LOL I am very petite and have always stuck with classics for work, styles that would always work, and of good quality. Now I'm at home, and whenever I have to go to an event I struggle to find that right look that isn't all business! I,too, struggle with high heels at this point, they torture me! I wish I had a magic wand (and YOU!) in my closet to help me pare down what doesn't work to what does. Lately I am very lazy, and jeans and a tee shirt are my go-to outfits. I know I can do better, but I get very frustrated and also have a hard time getting rid of clothes I spent a lot of money on. That closet is one big panic attack! Thank you again, any advice would be appreciated. P.S. I'm 4'10" and 115 lbs, most of that weight is my chest, which makes things even more difficult!! Bon jour! XXOO
There are platform shoes, boots, and sandles that have very little arrch rise that work a dream even if just an inch increase can make pants look that little bit more amazing😊
All the fashion tips are 100% and very light and pretty. Also, I think in order to be truly feminine, it needs to come from inside, your energy. A lot of women put out a masculine energy no matter how pretty their clothing. And an energetically feminine woman can wear just about anything.
Yes! I want to give away my button shirts. Same with blazers. And regular tees. And even regular pants. They look so masculine all of a sudden. Lately I like to have at least one feminine element to an outfit.
Ah, my arms used to be my best thing, but now, crepe and wrinkles and saggy. Started about age 64. Doesnt matter if youre toned and fit, the skin will change and droop and manohman, it is difficult to accept. Now, just long sleeves. It's ok it's ok, deep breaths and forward. I will learn to better emphasize my waist. Need a couple good belts.
I can totally relate! Feel exactly the same. I’m 56 and my arms are already crepey at the top even though I’m slim & fit! SO disappointing to give up my halter neck dresses & sleeveless tops but I’ve now embraced long sleeves, even in super hot weather!
All the fashion podcasts are saying cold shoulder is out. A no no. A black form fitting cold shoulder can look sexy. My husband loves the two I have. You can have the tailor take off the arms and then keep the shirt. Tailoring and redesigning a pieces can save you time and money. I agree that I would not purchase another cold shoulder but I still Lv the two I have.
😊Prefer skirts & dresses too. 💯% feel more feminine & attractive in them. Will only wear full length trousers whenever the🌡 mercury drops ⬇️below 70s (w/o full sun😎). And, that's only bcos I despise hosiery more😖. Otherwise tights & such only come out for formal occasions. ✂️Cropped pants can work once the temps spike⬆️ anywhere between 70s-110s🥵. Shorts for some sporty activities like hiking🥾, but a skort works best. 🚫Heavyweight jeans👖 for me, only straight or slightly relaxed lightweight classic trousers cropped between the bottom of my calf & ankle. They can sometimes serve a dual purpose: ¹Either shielding from the 🌞sun at an all day outdoor event w/little shade; or, when expected to be trapped indoors in a bldg w/arctic AirCon🥶 like a hospital, bank, library, museum, movie theater, etc. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
@@fnma21 I have a small waist and wide hips (hourglass figure) and I’m short. Pants make my bum look huge if I can even find a pair that fit. Skirts and dresses are much easier to shop for and look more flattering on me.
Wow! You look amazeballs! Hey! You should check out Maely’s skin products! Smooths out our aging skin on the chest, knees and and entire body! I use the Re-Solve for decallotage, and Get Dreamy for knees and ankles! It has smoothed out my skin to perfect smooth again!
Thanks for these tips! They are always very helpful and accurate. What is your opinion on shapewear lingerie? I would say it might help show a more beautiful mermaid silhouette…
There's no way you can dress up shorts unless you are in your teens or Kate Moss. I have yet to see a fashion "influencer" that doesn't promote shorts. They look terrible
😊I respectfully disagree. Seen plenty of young & old style influencers that look quite lovely & even elegant as well as professional for the office in short suits & sets. In fact, 💫Frederique looks fabulous in her all white ensemble here🤍. ✨️Beauty & style also has to do w/confidence & conviction✨️. If you cannot bring "it" in any given garment, you're quite wise to leave it alone. Of course, there's no sense in spoiling it for others who can rock it. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
No need to put someone else down in the process of receiving these tips. We all need to focus on ourselves and doing the things that serve our highest and best. If you put other women down that you don't know and have nothing to with, you more than likely do the same with women you know...behind their backs - not reflective of the style and elegance shared on this channel. Time is better spent on elevating & focusing on oneself.
@Frederique: ❤Me too❤. The bold color & the maximum size! Serious style points. Brava! 👓Corrective eye wear can be so pedestrian. There's no reason eye glasses can't be as ✨️glamorous✨️ as statement sunnies😎. My most favorite glasses I ever owned were in the late 80s. Tortoiseshell frame that had a swirling decorative gold metal piece that connected the two small round lens together visually on top. People either loved😍 or hated🤬 them. They generated extreme approval & disapproval. There was no in between. Both reactions tickled me〰️& made wearing them an even more enjoyable experience. 🎉Go big or go home! 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

Good point!
I see lots of skinny jeans but not super skinny like sausages.
We wear them in Italy as well
Skinny jeans look better on me as well. I still wear them.
Uske farmerice nikad ne izlaze iz mode, kao i inače džins

Your hair cut looks amazing on you! IT must be such an easy cut to maintain in the hot climate.
Thank you, this was a very inspiring video, I love it when you show the clothes yourself
You are welcome (back)

Tailoring makes a HUGE difference..especially on store bought clothes
I feel exactly the same. I always do some kind of tailoring even for 1 cm because it makes all the difference.
Great advice as always, Frederique. And your new haircut is adorable on you.
Thanks so much!

Australia
Available online?
Hello. I love your red eyeglasses. Can you please reveal the brand or the store I can buy them ? You look gorgeous ❤
They are pink Oscar wylee
Took my pants to a tailor to make them shorter. Can’t believe the prices. They are charging $20-26. Ridiculous
What value do you put on someone's time and skills?
For hemming 2”? $20 maybe. $26? I’ll do it myself. Unless I’m wearing the outfit to a wedding.
