Is there anyway you can give an estimate (rough is ok) to how much the conversion cost (from the shell of the van to what you show here)? I will be getting a van and want to figure about how much to expect to spend on the conversion.
@Louis The Van. This is the best van built so far. I like it because it has a shower inside the van. I also like the white interior. Although your other black builds were very nice, I personally prefer the white interiors. They look more beautiful, peaceful, cleaner, happier and serene. Keep up the great work. By far my most favorite design, and look of a conversion van. I love that you opted for an oven versus a microwave. No one understands what a microwave does to food and how toxic it becomes after 10 seconds in the microwave. For my use, I know I would be concerned with the amount of water. I’ve been in natural disasters. I’ve been stranded for long periods of time. The amount of water you have on board wouldn’t have got me through the time that I had no water until help came. That’s just me being paranoid. Still absolutely love this whole arrangement and look.❤
32 gallons is a decent amount of water for most vans and lasted us about 10 days as two people when we lived in this van. The biggest thing with water you have to watch is the weight rating of the vehicle!
I love how van and tiny home designs are getting smarter and neater. The hidden shower is a gem, it's so intelligent, and by this point, I consider it a basic of van or tiny home life to have a shower and toilet somewhere.
This is my favorite tiny van build thus far. It is a really well thought out design and i was even more impressed ar how organized all the compartments are. Great job! Enjoy the open road!

Personally for the bed, for my peace of mind when sleeping multiple people and pets, I would store heavy duty metal frame slabs to help support extra weight and minimise the risk of breaking the wooden bed/ seat slabs.

First off I want to express the deep gratitude I feel for you two sharing this amazing content on RUclips, as it has provided so much value to so many people(myself included of course!). And what timing! I am going to pursue purchasing my second van for conversion, and unlike the first one being a promaster, This van is a 144 sprinter. Your sprinter builds have by far been the most inspirational for me! From the second build you two did when COVID shut the world down and on, I have been watching along, drawing inspiration for my own build. Keep doing what you two are doing! PS As I am in the design stage of this second build, with the exciting anticipation of all that’s to come, I am faced with transitioning from a sideways fixed bed that was in my promaster to an option that converts during the day as I’m looking to purchase a 144. I am very intrigued by the bed extension via 500lb sliders. In this build you have done quite a different approach to that, so I am curious about your thoughts on both(granted you just finished this one) pros and cons, etc. it would be greatly appreciated. Paul, I (Seth) am 6’2” and after about 3 weeks of adjusting to the side to side shorter bed I can honestly say it’s not nearly as big of a deal as I thought it would be. I sleep at a slight angle and it really doesn’t bother me at all. First few nights I woke up a couple times but other than that I’m stoked we did it this way. Thanks for all the support!!

It is mentioned in the video that the water heater is 12 volt, but I can't find it anywhere listed in the parts list in the description. If it is indeed 12 volt, could you send me that link? I have been so stuck in analysis paralysis with finding a sustainable, efficient (and cost effective) method for this system. Thx!
I love watching the non-RV/fifth wheel tours of these different and unique living accomodations, and the more compact, the better. What I absolutely LOVE about your build, is that you do not HAVE to go to and from the cab to the living space through that cut out, but its there if you need it to be (like if someone starts banging on your vehicle in the middle of the night and you need to stay contained within the vehicle perimiter, then you could sneakily climb through the vehicle cab and start the car up and pull the covers off and drive away. But you also always have that sliding door to also enter and exit from, and using the cab doors and the sliding back door, it gives you an alternate option. Most importantly, I LOVE WHERE YOU HAVE THE TOILET! I dont care if you use compost or the cassette, but I love where its located. You store it inside that shower area, and its located RIGHT next to a door. You even have that curtain, and that fan above, so you can VENT the stinky smells out the van! But even more important, its NOT LOCATED BEHIND THE KITCHEN! The worst thing i see in builds, is that the toilet has to be LIFTED OVER THE KITCHEN SPACE, or OVER THE BED/ KITCHEN TABLE/MAIN SEATING SPACE. to exit and enter the vehicle. The thought is I do not want my waste to go NEAR my food! The factor that you have it located right by the sliding door, and that even if you remove it from the shower, you just place it right beside said shower space, and it doesnt go above and over the counter/kitchen/bed space, is absolutely INGENIOUS to me. The whole litterbox thing, the factor is, if you decide to sell this vehicle, then if whoever buys it doesnt need it as a litter box, you remove the litterbox insert, clean it up, and BOOM! its now additional storage. With cats you dont need as much cat food, your dry food bags are sold in much smaller quantities, with dog food, its much larger, so that if they have a dog, maybe that litterbox space is where they may decide to store the dog food, or dog toys, etc. However, its really a concious build that covers all the bases in what you need to live in such a small space, and remain sanity!
Your van is so well designed it's a treat to see how it goes together. All so clean & neat. The accessibility of the power controls, batteries etc is the best I've seen, no crawling around squeezing into awkward gaps under beds to get at any of it Usually I get a bit claustrophobic thinking about how I'd access switches etc but not with this setup. The shower & loo are excellent, I could enjoy owning a van like this.

Best shower idea yet as others have been tiny & impractical , I have 2 a day so this gave me a better option . Loved how light and airy your spacing felt as others vans have left me feeling claustrophobic. Thankyou
All your builds are fabulous, but this is my favorite. Much more practical as well as beautifully creative. I hope you returned to filming & posting the design & build process. I sure did enjoy watching those videos.
If you attach a swivel to the copperwork of the shower and cover the shower with a wooder step which you can pull out to stand on you could shower outside the van. I love that you wash your toilet. And also that the shower cable and head teach to the outside so you can alsk wash your feet when you enter your home. You deserve 5 stars.
