Finally a build that prioritized the bathroom and built around it. Very smart. I love that the bathroom has a private door and can be accessed through the back. A lot of DIY people should take notes. The toilet doesn't need to be under your bed or next to your food.
Yup. And I don't really "buy" those people's claims that a bathroom is not needed, you just can access a fitness centre, truck stop or whatever. While some are clean others are not. And I don't care who they are, or how young or fit they are, if they do a lot of van travel they are going to have a stomach upset at the least convenient moment. It is OK in the wilderness, in reasonable weather, but in a city you can't always rely on finding a place in time. In some countries they lock their public bathrooms at night. [Yes, I am talking about YOU Melbourne Australia!]

It blows my mind that private builders are able to design AND build platforms that are so much better than large manufacturers can make. Like.. the big companies have millions of dollars to spend on design... and they always drop the ball. Great build here.
The big guys are selling to the masses though. So they create a platform that most would enjoy. These guys make each one special and unique which is cool but Idk if they could scale like large manufacturers.

I agree, whenever I see those big sprinter vans done by big name companies they’re a huge disappointment for the price tag attached.

This is my favorite layout so far, the back bathroom shower makes so much sense in this build.
Nomadic Introvert (whose channel I really enjoy) also has her bathroom in the back, but her bathroom also has several drawers of storage space. I agree that the bathroom in the back makes sense. Nomadic Introvert also keeps an additional lock on the inner door that separates her rear bathroom from the living space, just in case someone breaches the back door of her van, giving her extra response time.
Probably one of the most stylish conversions I've seen yet. Very impressed with the bathroom, the moss-to-tile backsplash, the transition from tile to wood floor and all the finishes. Great job fitting it all in a 144!

Really love the concept of bathdoor in the backdoor. It's actually really useful especially when in the beach and need to wash off then enter the van while also having privacy. Truly one of a kind design right there

Guys, I've just binged watched all your van builds to date. No question about it, you build some of the most stylish and elegant contemporary interior van builds that I've seen on RUclips to date. I really like your style (though not as big a fan of the dark builds). You're up there for style. However, I feel your van builds are more suited for weekend or short term (1 or 2 weeks) trips. For long term (or 100%) van lifers where the van is their home, there is one fundamental flow in all your design, and that is the lack of storage space (and the lack of garage on some). It seems you prioritised style over practically in many of your design elements. A good example of this is with interiors where you have dedicated bench seating (with a separate bed), the space above the bench seat is simply wasted. You could have easily fitted more storage there. Another is the size of the fridge - very important for long term van lifers. Fitting smaller than a 60L chest style (or

I love this layout and interior! So many vans have so much stuff packed in, this has exactly perfect amount - and feels nice and spacious! Only thing I would change - I would somehow build the sink and stove into the table in a way I could just cover the whole thing and use it as a regular table without seeing any sink or stove at all. Or perhaps have a sink in bathroom, and a stove hidden in drawer in the kitchen.
