Keyword simplicity, it was underwhelming and pretty meh, there are a lot of singers out there that can actually carry out the notes and passion needed for the national anthem and she's just not fit for this. Disappointing performance.

When do you plan on singing the National Anthem in a large Arena? It's always been a difficult song to sing and definitely with feeling like Reba did. The other time that I remember an outstanding performance was when Whitney Houston sang it at the Superbowl. Both singers did a FANTASTIC JOB OF SINGING IT!❤

Love Reba’s conviction of honor and patriotism!
I met Reba waaaaay back in 1980-81 BEFORE she was this huge superstar. It was in the Hudson's Bay High School gym and she was just walking past the rows of bleachers. She was soooo sweet and kind especially since I was maybe 12 or 13 at the time. She was so sparkly & genuinely beautiful. Her voice was so rich & full of all these 'extra notes' that made it sound so complex and better than any singing I'd ever heard before. Why she was in a gym in Vancouver, Washington, is still a mystery to me when even I could tell she was meant for bigger & better things. So pleased to see her success - her talent and drive has her exactly where she belongs!!! Great job!!!!!!!

I was taught to respectfully stand for the National Anthem . Placing hand on heart was only for the pledge of allegiance. Its ok either way. My fifth grade teacher taught us that and we did it every morning. ❤

I remember her singing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in 1977 and always wished she would have recorded it on one of her albums. It’s never been sung better. So glad I got to hear it again.

I’ve sung our and Canada’s National Anthems so don’t think it’s easy, it’s not. Reba gave it that hometown feel and I loved her version for this Super Bowl. We all need to unite as people in our country and sweet and amazing Reba singing brought the unity. Let’s unite together people!

Gotta Love Reba! Omg her energy is so positive, she always puts a smile on my face. My only complaint was they spent the whole time showing players and Vegas, like… can’t you do that during the game??? At one point I was like “Is this a track?” Show the Artist!!!
I loved seeing some of the African American players with the wakanda forever hand symbol across their chest.
I also enjoyed Andra Day singing LIFT EVERY VOICE AND SING WHICH TRULY DEPICTS A MORE UNIFIED NATION.
