    As a 50+ year old who built gliders in the far distant past .. the construction of those wings are incredibly beautiful

    I always switch out the wing bolts for ones with hex heads to avoid damage from a flat blade screwdriver.
    Especially if they are buried in a wing.

    AT 2:04:12 you reference location of clevis to control horn for elevator. However, when you show the instruction page-it is referencing the SERVO ARM location, not the control horn.
    Just a friendly FYI 🙂

    I just bye a regular tube of blue lock tight I always have that in my bench and for the decals if you use three drops of dawn dish soap and spray the area you putting stickers on it makes it easy to slide around to right spot you want it and to squeegee all the air bubbles out and for those wheel hatch cover flair things that go on landing gear I use the shoe goop or e6000 and rubber bands and two small clamps to hold it up off wing and let it set up for a good 2 hours and it's solid for ever. I love how it all screws together and use magnets to cover the screws so if you crash it makes it simple to order just the parts you need unscrew and rescrew it and it is super straight and level no measuring required for the tail assembly use to have to glue and epoxy clamp and measure. Amazing part is this covering and plane is hand built by hanger 9 those guys are masters at covering planes crazzy how good they are. The time you spent finding something in kitchen you could have got nut driver lol. And that tension in tail the screw threads was gripping wood and not piping loose when you loosened nuts if you would have took it all apart and re did it it will get rid of that stuffness in the rudder

    A good plane to add 6" servo extensions to the ail servo leads. I did this to the flap leads on my Eflite Mustang 1.2. Is this the future of balsa planes, more PNP like?

    For those of us who have to remove the wing for transport will have to mount the receiver on the bottom of the fuselage between the wing. Definitely don’t want to go through that hassle getting aileron leads through that little hole to get them leads topside

    You know well maybe Brian you know this, but it would be nice if Hanger 9 and Horizon Hobby would do a Super Chimpmunk 60 size ARF balsa, just like PT-19 here.. You would be able to go glow or electric.. Really hope they put that in the works.. I always wanted the Goldberg Super Chimpmunk 60 size, missed out on that, so somebody gonna get on this idea I can feel it... This can be done!!

    With laser cut kits now man and they jig together very very tight with out pins and plans you just clamp and glue they come out that clean and perfect these days man I have about 10 planes I have built from a kit that's laser cut one is a hanger 9 and the others are from bang good and they are beautiful especially the bangood Cessna one it's super clean and very scale looking now if you gotta pin to plans with a die cut kit or a kit that doesn't jig together like the ones I built then it's hard to make them come out super clean like this hanger 9. The laser cutters and the way they jig together these days makes for super high quality builds from kit. But I do love these beautiful new hanger 9 pnp electric purpose balsa planes especially the fun size one like this for 500 bucks can't beat it getting a quality plane that's not foam that's as high quality as this before for a hanger 9 quality plane you was looking at close to a grand for it back in day

    If your clever you can make this into a glow powered plane, a 70 size 4 cycle engine would go great with this plane!!

    • @obtv6827
      @obtv6827 Год назад

      I was thinking gas power! Mine arrived today. You could easily put a 17cc in it!

    • @RockbeThyName
      @RockbeThyName Год назад +1

      @@obtv6827 Oh nice on getting your plane! Yeah they should make this kit with the choice of either you can install gas or electric power instead of forcing electric power upon you... For foam planes electric is perfect, but balsa like this PT-19, come on man you gotta put a 4 cycle in this bad boy.. But I get the fact that they are catering to the instant gratification plug and play these days..

    • @obtv6827
      @obtv6827 Год назад

      @@RockbeThyName You can always put the electric setup in something else. That is how I justified this purchase. Total price minus electronics equals about a $280 airframe, and a nice one at that. It's a beautiful plane, and sentimental to me because my first Cox control line plane was the PT-19

    Hey Ms. Megan feed Brian some Jello on a daily routine it will help with his nail issue.. I had one like that before only it was my toenail.. it was really disgusting.. black and draining some kind of yellow stuff yeah it was infected with a bad staff infection can you imaging my big toe... I went to the doctor and as soon as the doctor laid eyes on it he said hey what are you trying to do make me sick... anyhow my nail had to be removed so he just gave me a little injection and peeled it right off it was disgusting how it just drained all that yellow stuff .. kept leaking for days.. and when I wore socks the tip of it would just get soaked with all that juice coming out on it and boy did it smell. hey I took pictures on my phone of the whole ordeal I can send you and Brian some pictures if you like! anywho see you later!
