    A German company called Wunderkind makes a 4+ gallon tank for the bobber. Looks like the stock tank, just bigger.

    Some ppl in the comments complaining, but I needed to hear this. I had a 300 ninja which held more gas than this. That’s a dealbreaker for me unfortunately. Hopefully 1 day i could have this bobber for a second bike. Looks like I’ll have to go with the Vulcan S..4 gallon gas tank and I’ll add the mods. Great review

    New bobber has a bigger tank, but kind of sounds like maybe you should of got the speedmaster

      I don't love the Speedmaster looks honestly. I was a fan of the old one, but something about the new one just looks a bit off to me. I have a test ride on it planned though, so maybe that will change my mind.

    My 2020 bobber comes with tubeless Avon AV71 Cobra tires( love those spoke wheels). The tank gives me about 130 kms so when i go on long trips i carry a 1 liter fuel container in my side bag. Mine is a bobber black so absolutely no problem with the looks of the exhaust( or the sound). The seat can be some what uncomfortable so i positioned the seat back a bit and added a padded seat cover ( looks great too). The rad is great on long trips or very hot days, but you do have to keep it maintained. Enjoy your bike!!! I get looks every time i stop for gas so i don't mind stopping more often LOL. I did some "old man mods" to it so it's really a nice comfortable ride. Got away a bit from that cafe look and still have those mirrors upwards !!

    I have a 2018 Bobber. I like the 2nd set of rims. I would like to know where you found those rims. I want to change mine out. I have plans on putting on a wider yolk, so I can put on a wider front tire. I really want to put on tires with a lower profile as well. I agree with you, the seat isn't as comfortable as I like, I might try the extra cushion seat as well. I love the look and the sound of the pipes but I may also consider putting on the Spark exhaust system. I have a Thruxton R and I put on the Spark Exhaust, they have a great look and a great sound. The MPG's on this bike isn't good...I took a ride up to Cumming, GA from the Airport area and I had to fill up 3 times, that included the fill up at the gas station before I left, once when I got up there and a fill up when I got back.

  • @PilotPhteven
    @PilotPhteven 2 года назад +2

    Not sure how valid impressions are after 150 miles, complaining about fuel and range when you're had to fill up once. but, fair enough.
    - tyres, can't say I have had experience or issues with it, I wouldn't want to give up the spokes and haven't yet looked into changing my tyres for others.. hoping to get some whitewalls at some point though.. Either way, the tubes aren't a dealbreaker for me.
    - The range is, yea. not great.. but it's a bobber.. it's not meant to be a tourer. Either way, the newer bobbers have a bigger tank. And like you said, you could also do is put a 2018- speedmaster tank on it (impossible to find on eBay though). It's a bolt on mod, very easy to do. Which would give you 12 liters instead of 9 and perhaps a "nicer" solution than carrying around gas.
    - liquid cooling, in the long run.. it's better for the bike and increases resistance to breakdowns, even if it means there is a new failure point with radiators and such. Glad to see you have a cover, that's hopefully enough to prevent most.
    - Seat, would agree. Mine had that original seat. And I changed it for the diamond stitch seat you showed.. It does feel a lot better and is an easy install.
    - Exhaust is alright.. bit tame sounding maybe. But I don't mind the look, I think triumph has done a great job at making it look like a straight-ish pipe exhaust and it does fit the style of the bike. Most people don't believe they're not straight pipes and don't know it's hiding all the CAT and other bits.. they might just stand out because they're the only massive silver part on the bike, but that's a personal taste thing.

      @mowgli6345 2 года назад +2

      "It's a bobber" isn't really a valid argument. Because it's not a bobber. It's a faux bobber with modern tech, and as such should be treated as a modern bike. It's not a cheap parts bin bike that anyone could build. It's a premium 15k bike.

  • @rds4629
    @rds4629 Год назад +2

    triumph site says it gives 60 mpg ? Are they completely making that # up? Otherwise, the only concerns I'd have are the lean angle and the seat comfort for long rides. Yeah you can add storage but that's like complaining about not having a windshield!

    hey man, I'm glad to hear the lean angle was not one of the 5 things on this list, but since it's been over a year by now since you posted this video I'd like to ask if it has been an issue for daily riding? and if so, which part scrapes the ground first (exhaust/footpeg)? also if you managed to fix this feel free to elaborate with any details! would appreciate it :)

    • @Dailycozwerks
      @Dailycozwerks  Год назад

      I wouldn't say it is a daily riding issue, but it's definitely an issue. The peg touches down first or the corners of your boots if yours like mine are much wider than the pegs. It doesn't ruin the experience per say, but it's definitely a thing you have to be aware of. The engine is way more sporty than the chassis can keep up with.
