The thing I love about Jaime is the simplicity. Most every other chef would probably create the same dish with a complicated set up and get a star for his effort.
This is classic Jamie style.. so outdoorsy, rustic and simple.. love!
Most fun chef on the planet...Jamie Oliver!!!
Aww shucks - thanks dude!
What a clever idea...i loved smoked fish, those shrimp looked amazing
good idea. I done it as a child, but don't use a galvanized bucket. The smoke and vapours are poisonous.
See the discussion above to get the science behind why this isn't necessarily true.
@@FFSboise zinc fumes are released at 200 C or 392 F, so no, it is a bad idea.
Nothing beats simplicity my friend thank you for sharing
Jamie Oliver's blood: 50% water 50% olive oil
konan obayan its more like 25% water, 75% olive oil. Don't forget the 3:1 rule...
mark barlow no
He's called Oliver for a reason ;)
youre all WRONG yes sure its 3:1 DUH BUT its 3 table spoons of olive oil ( irl he pours half a liter) and 1 citrus juice
Brilliant
I love so much about this...the food, of course, the method, the natural elements - wood, metal, nature! Gorgeous job!
Man i love this Technique.
Thanks Jamie Oliveoil!
Excellent idea, will try this in the warmer weather, but with salmon and prawns.
I love seeing you so passionate not only about food but about family!
The rustic Jamie Oliver is back!! Awesome !!!!! This video is Jamie at his best Simple , outside and bread board ...
Thanks Jaimie..i caught a great tip today about choosing woodchips.. love your vids
Just a short reminder, I would put hot coal in the bucket once or twice before cooking food on it. Just to burn out any chemicals
I thought the same thing. That looks like it could be a galvanized steel bucket. If so, the smoke from it is TOXIC AF!
I really like doing it in the winter
Excellent as you expect from Jamie Oliver
Was a bit worried the olive oil wouldn't make an appearance
classico You know Jamie can't do without at least a 'little bit' of olive oil! Lol

How divine can that be goshhhhhhhhh !!!!!!
Smoking's a fine piece of summer cooking. You could call it prehistoric cooking, especially if you use local wood, fish, forest vegetables and fruit.
That's true - it's a proper old school method!
Hehe, I JUST made a salad with smoked salmon, but that one looks so much better with the onion and watercress for sure! :)
Ah - next time you'll be prepared!
You are so amazing ..I can't wait to try it
