Hiya Mike yeah they were a nippy little car and still very popular, and no one remembers them as a cop car at all, it will be easy enough to remove the police writing I think
Hi Digger that was great!what I have done is made a little green open space on my layout for a classic car meet up.Then if I place more older style motors on my roads, and someone says ‘that car or lorry wouldn’t be seen next to that one’ I say ‘they are on the way to the classic car meet up’ 😂😂👍
Great collection Digger. Classic cars are everywhere, so anyone who complains that the boxes are not era specific are fooling themselves that this is important. Happy Modelling
Some nice new vehicles for the layout. You could have a classic car show at some fair grounds on the new layout. Be a shame to scrap them. I like the vans and lorry's. Splendid buy Mate.
Nice haul there Digger 😃Having seen both your video now and Pete's, you definitely get your moneys worth. I get what you say about being able to use all of them in some form or another. Yes if you've got modern traction. A bit difficult to explain away an new Audi and the Stobarts vehicles on a 30' to 60's layout though. I suggested to Pete that he model a time portal on his 😆. I suppose it possible to do swaps with other modelers if the are running a modern layout and they have a load of classic cars Thanks for sharing though Digger and I hope life settles down for you soon
Nice vehicles there at a great price. I am looking for the Guinness Leyland Octopus or similar. However, they are always really expensive. They remind of the Leyland truck where my stepfather worked growing up.
Another brilliant video buddy! I think you could maybe do a classic vehicle rally. That way you could put loads in a field and have more on the road travelling to it. Hope things get better for you away from the layout. Take care buddy and regards to you all.
Hiya Digger! Great content in these Lucky Boxes, it's really worth it. I wouldn't mind if there were boxes like this for H0 too. But it doesn't actually matter, you can only get the boxes directly from Oxford, so I couldn't order any anyway. By the way, I don't have any models from Oxford yet, but maybe that will change at some point... All the best to you and your family, my friend, take care!
Hi Ralf they do international shipping but if they don't have your scale it's no good to you, a lot of their H0 stuff is American cars from the thirties up to the fifties
@@DiggerEvans I like American models, there are some really nice cars, especially the classic ones. I'm currently planning and building more on American models, although I'm mostly more oriented towards the 1980s and 90s. But the fact that Oxford also ships to Germany, for example, still doesn't do me any good. As is well known, GB is no longer in the EU, so the costs are far too high (shipping, taxes, currency conversion...). Anyway, of course you can also get models from Oxford over here, but none of these boxes. Well, as I always say: "You have to be able to do without."
A) Is the 1:76 scale what your layout is? I think you do the OO, yes? B) If you decide to do a vintage car dealership, I want to pay to have my name sponsor the business. "Hugh Jassole's Vintage Car Emporium" has a wonderful ring to it. 😁
I really like your latest additions Digger!👍
Thank you

Hiya Mike yeah they were a nippy little car and still very popular, and no one remembers them as a cop car at all, it will be easy enough to remove the police writing I think

£20 Box ya got exactly the same as Pete DJ
Yeah the exact same ones
Light yes Digger, light is really essential to photograph. Cool package, too bad that 1:76 is too big for me.
Thanks Steve I've added another overhead light into the mix this morning!
