- In Transformers, Abominus is a powerful combiner formed from five Terrorcons and delights in destroying Autobots. This AOYI Mech version is larger than the Power of the Primes version and contains metal parts! Captain Kyle goes through each figure and the combined mode to see if it would be good for your collection.
Abominus is all Decepticon and, like Predaking, is formed from mechanized creatures instead of vehicles. The team consists of Sinnertwin, Blot, Rippersnapper, Blot, and the leader, Hun-Gurr. The figures in this AOYI set are larger, contain metal parts, and combine into a robot that stands 15 inches tall. Is this a great addition to your Decepticon army? Captain Kyle investigates.

Power of the Primer = Combiner Wars Season 2
I added a spacer in the ratchets in hungar to make them stronger which helps with poses and I bought a oversized slash as I comes with two more combiner hands and those hands can plug into the back of the feet gives more extra stability
My Sinnertwin was missing his fist, but outside of that, I really like this set. For $45, can't go wrong.

One of my friends online sold me his Abominus cus he was selling older things. I absolutrly love this mold (even if rather imperfect) and got an upgrade set for him. Love the review and glad to see some KOs keeping the dream alive in a sense (Abominus in my area was hard to come by as most tfs were not ever in stock and toys r us were going out of business and every tf was sold.)
With Cutthroat I always used the folding gun as a tail in beast mode.
I've seen images of this with an upgraded sets of hands and feet. Does this figure use 5mm pegs like the Hasbro figures? Wondering cuz it looks great with those hands/feet. Usually see the sets for like $20/25 on Ebay for the regular figures.
How come the AOYI sinnertwin comes with a green gun?
I combine him with the legs and arms swapped on both sides compared to how you’ve done it, Blot and Rippersnapper as legs, Cuttthroat and Sinnertwin as the arms, I don’t know why but to me it makes him look better balanced 🤷🏻♂️
Cut from a paperclip the size of the would be pin. Put some crazy glue on each end of the hole and then slide the made up paper clip pin in. Then Blot's arms will never come off.
How come there are two types of AOYI sets?

All of the figures are voyagers with Hungurr being a leader class, so no. Doesn't really scale with CHUG.

@@tartatovsky according to a neat scale chart I found for the g1 cartoon, Hun-Gurr is supposed to be about as tall as Galvatron who is a leader class, and the rest of the team are supposed to be about seeker height which would be voyager sized. So tbh they kinda do scale better

I just got this set. The picture on the box shows the purple hands/feet. But I also got the black pieces. Is that the way it's suppose to be?

I order the AOYI Abominus and my Rippersnapper is missing his blue shoulder cannons. Now i see your video and you are missing them too?
They might not have included them. Sometimes, they skip some accessories on oversized stuff.

Yup. Still a nice combined mode to look at. The seller of mine is refusing to work with me on it claiming they are "out of stock".

Yea some joints have bad tolerance
I love the ko reviews, the only thing that would be better is if you could do a comparison with your previous review or the most recent mainline combiner ( legacy menasor)

These things are junk mine are broken right out the box and the seller refused to work with me. Plastic is too soft
Sorry to hear that. I wondet if it was a different company using the same molds. Was the packaging the same? Was this recent?
@@ToySpotlite it was one of those "save money without the box" deals and the plastic was so soft on Blot and Cutthroat that the legs broke trying to transform them. I am still partially happy with them because it holds together in combined mode and it's nice to look at.
I just got them in early March as my first modern knockoffs, I also got some old Beast Wars II and Neo bootlegs. I do have a purple "Shattered Glass" SS38 Prime coming though that should be better.
Many times I try to get the box as well. Glad it give you some joy. I've gotten some less than stellar bootlegs, but I've had pretty good luck with most of the stuff through Ali Express.
