I too eventually want to get an Iron Maiden tattoo. I've been toying with the idea of getting a half sleeve of the Powerslave artwork but it's going to be around $800usd so I haven't made that commitment yet haha

I like the feeling of getting a tattoo. It is painful is some parts, but sometimes it tickles and you get a warm-fuzzy feeling, like a wave of endorphins. Feels nice, actually.

I would like to have an avenged sevenfold tattoo, they're my favorite band of all time and pushed me through some hard times, where I didn't know how to overcome this misery, so they have a special place in my heart and if this is not a reason to get them on my body then I don't know why
Also when you are not fixed on what your job will be, consider that in certain areas (law, finance), having a visible tattoo can be a serious disadvantage in job finding

If someone is doubting about getting a metal tattoo, definitely do it. I only have two, since i got my first one last year, it is a partiture of stairway to heaven (not metal but still a beautiful song) and last week i got the black Sabbath demon. I absolutly love them, and meet other people with tattoos of their favourite bands its fucking cool

I’m 19 and don’t have any tattoos or piercings. I’d never have piercings but I’ve thought about maybe a tattoo or two I don’t know. But I definitely agree with waiting until your 21. Like I’ve thought about maybe a Slayer tattoo on my upper arm but then I thought I don’t know I mean like skulls is definitely something I’ll always love and I’ll probably always love Slayer but to have a tattoo I don’t know. Plus another thing I think about too is, say you get a smiley face when your like 70 it’s gonna be a sad face because of wrinkly skin “usually” lol. But I don’t know if I could handle the pain either lol. But overall I think tattoos are cool and all lol.
Very good video, when I’m like 20 I would like to get a Pink Floyd the dark side of the moon tatoo because it was like a band that really started to get me in rock what lead to metal, and later an Iron Maiden tatoo it will be a very tough decision to chose a design

I got my tattoo when I was almost twenty. I think just two weeks prior. I have never regretted it, and I want to enhance it since it's been seven years already. But, I agree with your advice. If you're not certain, don't do it.

Awesome episode! My first tattoo took me 16 years to get, its Blackie Lawless image of his severed head from “The Last Command”. Next was his autograph next to it. Now my back is a homage to W.A.S.P. Also love the Simpson’s ideas you have, my left leg is almost every character from The Simpsons. Love shows you do dude, keep up the awesome work!

That's the thing that surprised me when I got my tat. Everybody talks about how much they hurt, but it's really not a big deal at all. I was almost disappointed by the lack of pain

For my larger more intricate tats, I had them done in phases. Basic art work first, then went back in a week or two to get more details done. After 3 visits, I had a pretty epic piece of art.
I have 3 tattoos and I regret one of them. So I agree with a lot of what you said.
I have no tattoos, I think there are other ways to look cool that won't cost much.

I'm a few years from 40, still haven't gotten inked yet, but have an almost story. Local metal band (Daisy Slain) handed out gift certificates from a parlor at their album release show. I couldn't decide on a good tat, the parlor closed, the band broke up and I blame myself.
I still want tattoos, I have several ideas including my son's date of birth, and some for my hands inspired by working in a prison for 6 and a half years.
My advice to anyone is to not only think hard about what you want but DO YOUR RESEARCH and find a good artist. Learn what makes a good tattoo and how to identify a good piece versus a shitty piece. Linework, color, all of that. Spend the money the first time, that way you don't have to spend double the money getting it fixed. Also, for anyone that may tell you that "your tattoos have to mean something", no they don't. If you like a piece of art and want it on your body, then fucking put it on your body. Don't let anyone dictate that. If the tattoo is good, then the art will be appreciated.

Although I fell in love with tattoos long before I was of legal age to get them... And I too was one of those people that had ideas out the yin/yang of what I wanted for my tattoos.
Eventually, the first tat that I wound up getting was in Dec some-odd yrs ago: was my family crest (from my dad' side of the family) on my left pectoral muscle.
And showed it off to my entire family (I wanna say either Xmas or New Years...) My family was pleasantly surprised (...however, after my mom and I came back home; she said to me: "I know why you showed off your tattoo in front of everyone ...it was so that I couldn't 'murder' you. Too many witnesses." We then both laughed it off.
My 2nd one is of a Japanese Chochinobake (a "Paper Lantern" Yokai) which is on the back of my left calf (which I drew myself back in either '15 or '16) as I was getting it done my mom asked my artist if she could see the progress (which he agreed) ...she looked at it, smiled, then looked at me and said: "Oh, well... That's a nice 'My Little Pony' tattoo y' got there!"
I laughed at first, but then I looked at my artist, replying: "Wait... WHAT?!" (Then she said, "I'm just joking..") Which made my artist laugh too.

I don't personally have any tattoos. I have thought about it multiple times, but I still can't figure out exactly what I want. I told my wife if I ever figured it out, I would tell her but so far, nothing sticks.

My arms are heavily tattooed with Satanic imagery and symbols. The back of my neck as well. On my lower left side of my leg I have an Optimus Prime tattoo that I never added anything else to it. Great video just like all your previous ones. Keep it up. Hornz And Hailz. 🤘🤘

@@mysterymoose9642 Ink i think is the biggest one with quite a few non vegan things in it. "bone char, glycerin from animal fat, gelatin from hooves, or shellac from beetles." this is from PETA but it's valid points for your question another one is that sheep's wool can be in tattoo paper

Great advice on the age when to seriously consider a well thought out tattoo. I've been a tattoo artist for 14 years and tell people put a lot of thought into your tattoo design. There are so many ways and so many styles to draw it in. Write down your idea and even if you can't draw....draw it anyway. The more you come prepared the better art you are going to get. Now I'm not saying every artist is going to be killer at their job, so the first thing you do when going into a tattoo shop....
1. Ask for all artist portfolios. If they don't have a portfolio...LEAVE!!!!
2. If they have more than one artist,pick the artist you like best and ask for a consultation with him or her. They will not charge you just to talk about a tattoo...they better not because that's a dick move.
3. If you don't like any of the art at the first shop,just say thank you and find another shop until you find a artist you like and feel comfortable with. This will probably take some time.
4. Get online and check out their reviews and comments on each artist and I'm sure you can check out artwork while there.
5. When you find your artist,talk to them about your idea and if he/she is excited to do your tattoo,ask them to do a drawing for you(if you want a custom tattoo). Usually the more artistic freedom they have with your tattoo the better the art. Now they will charge you something to draw your tattoo but ask them how much and does any part of that go towards my tattoo.
6. Be picky!!!! Just don't be picky 2 hours before your tattoo....that's just rude.
7. When you get your tattoo,listen to your artist on how to take care of it. Your buddy or your cousin didn't tattoo you....so LISTEN to your artist.
This is the basic commen since stuff to start out with. Don't let no one or no shop pressure you. They should be kind and considerate but just a fair warning a lot of us are smart asses..... LOL
@Petrazenka I've never done any type of gang tattoos,or racist tattoos and I still won't. I've been offered triple the money and still turned it down. If that's what you mean by earning the tattoo I would suggest to them to think about it again and for a little longer.
@Petrazenka I have read about,talked to white power members,black power(yes black power) members,shook hands with 1%ers,been invited to covens,tattooed self proclaimed male and female witches. A lot of images will have sertain meanings to different people. A lot of those images have been around way before the time of Christ,but to the general public it's something really cool...neat...would be a cool tattoo. There are so many images for different cultures and beliefs that a dagger could mean 5 different things in 5 different cultures or you just have a thing for knives. A lot of images were just taken. Taken to represent something that would be considered "earned" or "worthy of". That's why I tell people to do their research on the image they would like for a tattoo and they don't know something I know about it I will tell them. But you have the people who just don't care about the meaning and just want the tattoo. If I don't know about a certain image I will do research on it. I have all kinds of reference books on cultures,religons,gangs,
cults, prison tattoos,etc. This is something that I whole heartedly believe...

@Petrazenka nope... stayed away from shit like that. I treated everyone of my clients like it was there fist tattoo and respected their permanent marks. I was happy that they chose me to do their tattoo.
@Petrazenka no miss understanding.....I've been a manager of a shop or just an artist doing my thing. Never really needed that "protection". Believe it or not your clients have your back. I've had some pretty big clients tell me if someone is fucking with you..... you tell me. Where I started my apprenticeship the owner married the daughter of the leader of a biker gang so there was that automatic..." Don't fuck with this shop". I've heard of shops going through that but it's few and far between..... unless you tattoo in Japan and tattoo the Yakuza,then you might need that " protection". But no that's never happened to me.

dude, i didnt know you were a squatch aficionado. i live in oklahoma, and we have a shit pile of them here. mostly on the eastern and southeastern side of the state. and borders some very well known squatch hotspots. but i hate that i have to be the guy to ask this, but apparently we are like minds in several ways, so here goes, have you had an experience, or a sighting? i hate that so many people hear that a person is from Canada, the very next question is, "have you seen bigfoot?" so fucking ignorant. i hate that i am "that guy". thanks for all the badass vids.

Since grade 9 I wanted a tattoo of a picture I drew on my notebook across my chest.
It's a T-55 tank shooting a shell through a cartoon heart.
Sounds gay as fuck but honestly I thought it was the coolest shit in grade 9. I'm 18 now and I still want it, so I am not sure that's going to change by the time i'm 21.

I will have my 18th birthday in November - and I really want to have tattoos but I dont want them until I would have at least bachelor degree because a lot of people judge base on the tattos and I really want to get a job and for me good job is something I want much more than tattoos - but i really want to get Eye for The Heart in Atlantis from Stephen King and want to get forrest on my arm - maybe burning forrest so it would have enviromental meaning but tattoos are something I would sacrifice for good job
