    Between the roar of the wok, the sizzling of the ingredients, the billows of aromatic steam and the presentation ... I'm finding the experience to be some what sensuous. And now if you'll excuse me I'm going to step outside and have a smoke.

    7:04 - Why did the chef not add the crispy garlic he prepared at 1:44? Did he forget it? My observation is that the dish was served without the garlic.

      just like how aglio olio uses olive oil + chili and garlic as its main ingredients,in this case the oil gets infused with the garlic flavour.

      No, at 4:51, the chef put the beef into the garlic colander above, and then at 6:17, he put both down to stir with vegetables.

    I can’t get over this guy deep frying stuff at that temperature right next to running water
    It would be enough a little splash of that water to hit that boiling oil and it’ll be sayonara chef

      You're joking right? All asian style commercial kitchens are designed this way, running water is preventing the hazard of the entire kitchen coming a sizzling hot plate. Please read up on it.

    What's the verdict? Just by watching I'm not sure this is the way I'd want my $200 serving of wagyu prepared. Likely would prefer it done the traditional way.
