Joey & Chandler were like Abbott & Costello or Laurel & Hardy. A comic duo. Or Lewis & Martin.
The writers wrote & Matthew delivered with precision & great timing.
I think the whole cast had fun working on the set of Friends.
We watched the cast grow up with us.
Matthew was so very talented.
And as a human being he was caring & funny & insightful with his path in life & thru the pain of his addictions.
I sincerely hope that in his last years of life he was out of pain & happy with himself.

Completely agree I liked Studio 60 a lot with the rapid fire dialogue and Matt Perry was excellent, and The Odd Couple wasn't bad I thought the cast had good chemistry and timing ,just not friends.He will be sorely missed,sounds like the cast is taking its time to release official statements as they are all grieving very sad times

There’s something so unnerving about seeing someone so alive and vibrant, full of personality, insanely radiant sense of humor, having infectious energy and then simultaneously knowing they’re dead… like I’m watching this right now but Matthew Perry is literally not alive anymore. He’s gone. He does not exist like at all. Yet in one moment in time he existed VERY much, and now he’s just a memory. Weird. Life is fuckin weird man.
Sad about Matthew Perry. I did like the chemistry between Chandler and Eddie.
It’s pretty sad seeing how much Matthew Perry’s body changed throughout the series. When the clips go back and forth season to season you can see him when he was skinny, heavy set, etc. I always knew he had a lot of personal problems but it seems like the situation was very serious. 😳
The only substances I've abused are alcohol and weed. I've also gone up & down in weight like a yoyo. 🤷🏻♀️
Alcohol makes you gain weight, and with the amount of drugs he was taking he would get sick, and lose weight. It was sad watching him watch himself through each season. He went down to 128lbs up to 255lbs.

-when Rachel is overwhelmed at having to keep her estranged parents apart at her birthday party, and Chandler sympathizes from his own experiences.
-naming the little chick Yasmine
-Chandler: "This is nice." Monica: "I know, it is, isn't it?" Chandler: "No, I mean it, this feels REALLY good. Is this 100% cotton?"

Like "The Big Bang Theory" Friends saddled their cast with dialog that sounded like it was written in an office ...and the saving grace was their delivery of these unlikely lines so that you had more belief in the characters....mobile-faced Matthew was very good at delivery - I think because of his Canadian upbringing.......Rest In Peace -

An icon of our generation has been lost. I would say that Matthew Perry's death has affected me just as deeply as Robin Williams'. Maybe because their lives were so affected by drugs, alcohol and mental illness. Please, if your life is being affected by these things, get help. Your life matters, you are loved and you dont have to suffer anymore, ask for help. ❤ Matt and Robin are surely looking down and agree.

This is quite the memorial of Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing. I don’t really know what to say here after learning precisely/exactly what happened to M.P. (Chandler Bing) with re: to the extent of the drug usage. Esp, considering how many people were willing to take his life & all 5 individuals have been caught & it’s been proven fact that they’d called him a “moron.” They literally used him for all the $$$ they could bleed out of him. They didn’t give a care about him 1iota & basically said so. For me, I feel that he was hurting in ways & degrees that none of us can comprehend/understand! So really anybody who feels they can criticize his actions really don’t know to the extent of his agony! I’d say “keep quiet about your criticisms.” They’re only hurtful. Plus think about the fact that the rest of the group will eventually see your comments or (criticisms if that’s what they were.) M.P. (Chandler Bing) R.I.P. I know you will, your presence was very special & precious to everyone, now there are only memories. ♥️💝💐
