I really love the scene @56:23 where they’re all trying to convince Rachel to come out of the bedroom when she’s upset about her birthday. I love the scene cus everyone tries with multiple ways to lure her out and yet when it comes to Ross it shows how much he actually knows her with “We got Presents!..” to which she responds with “Good Ones?..” It’s one of the least talked about scene between the both of them that shows how much he knows her still. And remaining on the episode I LOVE the ending it’s freakin HILARIOUS!! His ❤ for her was not always a mature ❤. It was often more like a remnant of his high school crush / infatuation / obsession with her. He demonstrated that by dismissing her jobs & careers as unimportant compared to his own, and by urinating all around her desk to mark his territory.
Ross is a traditional idealist that’s a big part of his character and why his complicated history with Rachel + his multiple divorces + getting women pregnant outside of marriage are actually more sad than funny. He talks about that with Joey perfectly in Season 8 episode 5 he always wanted the marriage, the big house, the family with multiple children etc… Plus he’s been in love with Rachel since high school AND they both describe their relationship as "amazing" (season 2 episode 20) so Ross imagining their future very early into their love life makes sense in this situation and for his character.

Ps - always loved this show.
I guess after that Thanksgiving incident and Chandler and Monica's honeymoon where they were locked out of the appartment, suddenly they all had a key!!!
1:50 I relate a little too well. My mom was a control freak (like Monica: control freak, but not mean with it) and I never did laundry until I went college. I got the exact same lesson from a guy in college who was doing laundry at the same time. I even dated that guy later, but we didn’t end up together like Ross and Rachel.
Day 2 of asking to do "the ones with Monica's apartment "
Only phoebe can say stuff like this
" Hi lm phoebe Buffay l have babies coming out of me" which one is the father, no, none of them are the father, the father is my brother 😂😂😂
30 didn't feel old at all. We had our last son. I finished school started my real career 31 yrs later, sure i look like i been here 6 decades im a little broke & a lot broke down, still i don't feel old. 🤪

Phoebe is like Debbie Downer.
Um...no. Not even.

Please allow me to clarify.
She was momentarily being like Debby Downer.
She was pulling a D.D.
Best sitcom EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!
@3:18 - Ross really should've been named 'Tucker'
WHY GOD WHY..let the others grow old, not me!!!
Joey
My favorite show. It was hard to watch the end for their saying goodbye, it felt like they were saying goodbye to Chandler. 😢
I actually liked the Joey spin-off. It didn't work out, but the next 2 followed
HIMYM - Barney is like Joey.
TBBT - the gang is like Michael. Howard was even in the Joey spin-off!
I enjoyed the Joey spinoff too. I would have continued watching too. I did miss his friends though. Matt LeBlanc is great 👍
