Well it wasn't. Ashton Kucher took the show in a new direction which didn't always work (the gay shit) but that was more the fault of the script writers and not strictly him. I thought he was passable/not too bad but yes, without Charlie it definitely wasn't the same anymore.
I marathoned first three supercuts today, and was disappointed when I couldn't find the 4th part. And then an hour ago, they dropped 4th part what could be a bigger birthday present for a die hard two and a half men fan 😊

I love how raunchy this show was. No shade at How I met your mother or Big Bang theory but this is comedy. I get it some people enjoy other types of comedies. But this show was always a fun time! Too bad things got crazy with Sheen and the end. But you know what they say good things eventually come to an end.
Rose did not really kill Charlie. She held him captive in a underground room. He escaped and the finale of the show showed his piano being dropped on him and killing him. Watch the finale and you will see his death.
Personally, Sheen was having substance problems, Kushner was bombing on the show, so the script had to end. Rose didn’t kill Charlie, she put him in a dungeon. Years later he escaped and hunted down the other characters. Bad ending!
