now found your channel , hope your well , thanks for the uploads , im nearly 51 from norwich , have done 364 parkruns at one venue , you are a much faster runner than me , if i get 26 / 27 minutes that is good for me these days , anyway , keep up the posts , like your sense of humour , take care
Thats a strong pace Tim... and very scenic I have a feeling the wife might want a holiday there...... so expect to see me on a shopping holiday around March 23rd 2025 😂
Lovely video! I ran this race as a training run while on holiday in Telford from Canada. In my mind it’s one of the most beautiful races I’ve ever run. I would happily run it again. I was also warned about the “nothing but uphills” in the second half and didn’t find it that bad!
Great run MARM 💪, going to give the Solihull half a go in August. Flight from Ireland is pretty cheap and Solihull looks to be close to Birmingham airport.
Fantastic vlog sir, cracking pace, really enjoyable to take a trip down memory lane with you (excluding any and all PE / Geography teachers of old) and a lovely nod to Marm Snr.
Genuinely loved that video Tim (Tom). There was a picture of the iron bridge on the front of my O Level History textbook. It's been iconic to me ever since. As I used to tell my pupils back in the day, how amazing is it that they built the world's first iron bridge in a town called Ironbridge. Coincidence or what?? I did the Telford 10k the last two years. The first couple of miles of that route seems to be on the same bit of course. On the Broom bucket list now for the future.
When you crossed the bridge, you should have popped into the gift shop for a machete and a bong as gifts for family 🤣 Also, great savoury pies in Eleys pie shop.. You could have done a pie review down the wharfage.
Great video as always but gutted to see that you will be taking it easy in Cornwall. Thought you were doing the Gloucester Half. Only reason I signed up was to meet the great MAMeR and was happy to miss out on one hour less in bed.
Gutted Rodders!! Didn’t really have a leg to stand on I’m afraid. It came down to- kids get a holiday or I get a race….. ALMOST suggested that I could do it on the journey down, but I picked up on some fairly hostile vibes!! Let me know what it’s like!!
As MARM is crossing the IRON bridge could not help but look up irony. "Verbal irony is a figure of speech that communicates the opposite of what is said, while sarcasm is a form of irony that is directed at a person, with the intent to criticise." Smashing it out there. Can't remember the last time I was rocketing it! Best wishes.
Excellent running - 2nd in age 👍🏻 - top class effort Marm 💪. Had to google it about the count and soon as you put his name in his mug shot comes up , the mug shot tells you everything you need to know 😂😂 - all the best , enjoy ya hols🏃♂️💨💨💨💨
Top running again MARM. 👍👌 The name could've been worse, guess the M C could've called you Terry.. 🍊 😂 Hopefully I will be trotting round this course next year..💜🐐 Great footage as always! Enjoy your Easter Break!.. 🐥
just a remark as a foreigner. It is very hard and some times impossible to understand what you are talking about......in this video i understood very little, other than you played Wolfie Adams when you were younger.
This looks like a great half to do, will look at doing this next year. Great watch as usual.
Do it. It's a real belter. Happy Easter Jonathan!

Another top run. The MARM Production team is on fire - working in The Professionals 1980 Ford Capri at 6:31. Lovely Stuff.
Totally deliberate Paul.

Same to you pal. Big night, up the cougars 😅😅.
It looks decent to me.
I don’t need something to give me an MRI.
GO Cougars!!

Claire Rayners? Shouldn’t it be Angela Rayners? Then you wouldn’t feel bad about getting mud on them or even dog poo.
That's a good point John. A pair of filthy Angelas? Much better. Happy Easter!
