Thanks for the mention in your video. It was good to meet you at the start of the race. Well done on your time, brilliant, considering you raced the weekend before! Good look for Naseby! I had a shocker of a race, feet blistered around 10k ended up stopping several times, managed a painful 1.28. I should've turned off with the 10k'ers! See you at the next one 🫡
Last time I rand the Birmingham Half it was Called the Birmingham 10... because Canon Ball Park was closed off for security..... another very strong paced run Tim and with GoPro.... now who do I know carries one of those 'hmmm
For someone who does not like big crowds, what are you doing running the Birmingham Half ? You didn't even wait to say hello as you were only an hour ahead of me in all that heat !! Good to see that the family turned up just for the shopping trip and food.
What an honour to share the same tarmac as the mighty MARM although many minutes apart. At least i got to shout "Yes theres the MARM" as we passed on the Pershore road.!! Keep up the good work and the insightful tours of local areas.
It was immense to watch your run from yesterday. I did my first ever half marathon and this was my first. I had to walk a lot but I had so much fun. I did 2:48:05 😊
@@middleagedrunningman Thanks mate it was such a great experience. I did my first 10k last year at the same event and now I'm hooked for next year. Here's to beating my first time next year! :D
Great running again MARM! Didn’t see you this week but then it was very busy although looking at the overall results looks like we finished in near identical time positions again! I preferred running in the heat this week much better than the rain in Coventry! 😅
Well done mate! Great running as usual. I didn’t sign up this year as I still have nightmares from last year. I blew up in cannon hill park and then walked into the stands at Edgbaston for a nice sit down for 10 minutes.
@@middleagedrunningman I haven't quite perfected it yet.. @@middleagedrunningman It sure was mate, couldnt believe how friendly and supportive everyone was, definately booking onto some more, I want to do the full marathon next year, I'm still buzzing after Sunday!
Yay, the warm up is back! 🕺🏻 Despite the heat, it looked like a good race. You did great even if Gove won. Boo on Gove. 😛 What’s been happening in Broadway? 🤔
Brilliant mid week tele 😂👍🏻📺, great effort mate , still a very good time that 👊👊 Looking forward to the next one , enjoying this 6 in 6 series. How you feeling mid way through the 6 in 6 races ??
@@middleagedrunningman 🤣Your a warrior mate, it’s harder than what people think, you may need to watch some David Goggins towards the end of your 6 in 6 🫣🏃♂️👊 - best of luck , keep it up your doing great 👍🏻
You made it look so effortless. I ran it in 1.54 including a toilet break. You are holding a camera the whole way through? Do you drink or refuel during the run? God is Love guy bless him. He is there rain or shine
Fantastic running again. Recovery between races is clearly going well. Nothing worse than squirming on a coach or bus with no toilet, that keeps on going past service stations, so i can sympathise. Managed to smash out a PB at MK Half 1:34:57
@@middleagedrunningmanYeah it's flat and fast and the finish is inside MK Dons stadium. Really well organised and supported, although getting out the car park afterwards can be a bit of a nightmare.
"I don't want to ruin his RUclips video. I don't wanna be too loud." :D What a legend! Great run Marm, was the warm up not counter productive? You might have smashed that 1:24 target. Or was the intent to let Gove have one to make the series more interesting? :D
Clearly Gove didn't take into account the local conditions (rather like his attitude to his day job) - had he done this, then his predicted time would have been different and it would be 3 - 0 to MARM!
Congrats MARM! I was in the green vest in a few of your shots. Somehow managed to negative split and PB in 1.23.51 despite the hills and heat 😊
Hugely impressive Ken. Negative splits are unattainable for me!

Quality vid, Tim and very sporting to let Gove have a chance! Appreciated the Dad joke/side-eye combo!

I was going to do the same but think he was in Cannon Hill Park when I was coming down the road 😂
Next time Dan. Cannon Hill - tricky little uphill….

Well done. Finally seem to be getting some better weather too.
Cheers Reluctant. Bit hotter than the week before. Crazy.

“Dump Time” 😂😂😂
Did you beat Mike?

Anybody know how many electrolytes there are in dry country crisps? Must stay hydrated.
