Thanks for the vid! I see what you’re saying on 6061 vs 7075 but that’s only about a 50% increase in strength (yield strength) and basically the same stiffness. Let’s say they made the towers 50% thicker: it would be over 3x stronger/stiffer. Same for the chassis brace, double that thickness and it’d be 8x stiffer and stronger in bending.
You did it again lol, my next RC is the Asuga or the Kagama like you recommended. I always choose durability over popularity, Corrally has some strong RC's, thats a buggy! i wouldn't dare bash my Kysosho MP9 lol.

Yeah unfortunately they're just aren't a lot of good places for me to do top speed runs in my area. That being said I think that speed that I achieved is probably a reasonable practical top speed. Most people don't have miles of room to bashion so those ideal condition top speeds aren't really that applicable to general use.
Unless you specifically want the smaller vehicle I would go asuga. I think it's a little bit stronger with the better bracing system. They're both good cars though.
For play only or an "open" class that let's everything in the asuga is top. If you plan on entering any events that follow the rules this one is what you want.
@@thatoneguy2756 oh yeah I guess If he wants to race the spark would be the way to go. That being said if he wants to race I don't think any of the basher buggies are the best bet.
@DoRC ok I asked because I upgraded my chassis and shock towers on my radix6 to 7075 so it might not be worth me getting the spark if I can't transfer some of that stuff over
I'd say it depends. This is better for bashing in smaller areas and the asuga is better for handling larger areas with rougher terrain. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either one though.
Hate say think stock coralley system is stronger and you just said the same . I’m using max 6 with there motor and it’s stronger than g2 max 8 combo idk what they did , maybe they low balled there own specs , 2300 kv 😂
this one is looking like a contender for sure!! thanks for posting and always top notch bashing and info!!!!
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!
This is one badass buggy! 🔥
🏁Based on my personal RC rig experience, I will continue to still stand by my tank: The Typhon 6s V5.
Typhon is definitely a good buggy!

Yes going thicker would help as well but that also often means changing other things on the vehicle due to changes in mounting locations etc.
Thanks for your helpful Videos! Just subbed to you :)
Awesome thanks for watching!
I just ordered the RTR hopefully it's what I'm looking for I've been out of the game for a long
I don't think you'll be disappointed. Let me know how it goes!
Man that's a rad car. I'd buy one if they had parts near me
Where do you live?

Yeah they've really stepped up their game lately! Hopefully they'll be making moves :-) Thanks for watching!

Yes as a matter of fact that's on my list of things to do. I had started making them and then forgot to continue :-) Glad you're enjoying!
That speed run area 👀 tight. I’m shocked it pulled 57mph. It makes me think, I want too much space.

Nice video, iam thinking of buying one but cant decide between the asuga or the spark. Wich one do you recommend?

Nice video bro heck ya
Thanks It was a lot of fun to make!
You could have added one additional piece right along the top 👊😎try it if needs be
Yeah I thought about that but given that it didn't bend a second time I think it was just a fluke that it happened the first time.
@@DoRC yeah me to. Every hard bail does damage 👊😎
@@DoRCor you could double up on the stock braces but I doubt that's needed since it didn't bend again.
Does the spark share the same chassis and shock Towers with the Radix
I know the shock towers are different. I'm not sure if the chassis is cross-compatible or not.
@DoRC ok I asked because I upgraded my chassis and shock towers on my radix6 to 7075 so it might not be worth me getting the spark if I can't transfer some of that stuff over
@user-tk1zv8bw8e gotcha yeah From everything I've been told they are not compatible.
This or the Asuga hmmmm 🤔

Yeah, that’s why everybody was loving the Radix 6 when it came out! It was way faster than the Typhon.
Yes torox 185 ESC is 185 amps continuous. It's a beefed up max8 G1. Definitely a stout system.
The TC RTR system is definitely good!
