My nephew and husband work hard there everyday! My brothers both used to work there and my dad was with Earl many years. Boat building runs in the family. 😃
What impressed me the most was all the dedicated people that worked at the plant you don’t see people staying at a job for that long any more. That’s says a lot.
Interesting video. A lot more goes into building a boat than most people realize. Glad there are places like this building good products by hand and keeping so many Americans employed!
It’s so incredible to see how these Caymas boats are all built by hand and the longevity of their employees says a lot about the company and how they operate. What a great video Hank, especially with Caymas being Tennessee boat manufacturer 😎💯🍀👍 congratulations 🎉 to you for having your own Caymas and your dreams coming true. ✊😎🍀🎣🍀 I can’t wait to see you fishing and sharing your adventures in your new dreamboat ❤
I will never be able to afford a Caymas Boat, but this is a great video. And. If I could afford one I would take great pride in it if I could because of seeing this video. Looks like a great boat build, and it’s built with pride and integrity by men and women who take pride in what they do. Thanks for a great video. And thanks for Earl Bentz and his people ❤️😁👍
That man there is top notch. Those employees will continue working hard with as much knowledge he had for every employee y’all came to. Very impressive.
I felt the same way when I saw the old Ranger factory tour. Earl has been in the business a long time and has designed a lot of boat hulls. Thanks for the tour.
Having designed and built my own Bass boat here in South Africa, I know exactly how much work goes into making them. Watch all boat manufacturers walk through I come across. Pity these vids weren't around much in 2014 Have a huge appreciation for these workers....
As someone who worked for many years in a commercial manufacturing environment, and frankly alongside folks just the people in this video, this was really interesting. Congrats on your new boat.
I used to build fiberglass boats, it takes a LOT of attention to detail and time to make a quality boat. Caymas's factory looked very well setup and efficient!
Wow I had no idea there was so much involved. I expected a more automated process, but the hands on manufacturing is far superior to ensure quality and for genuine appreciation of the finished product. I was blown away seeing the Caymas boats up close at the Classic and watching this video just furthers that impression.
Hey Hank, I agree. Watching this really does give you a greater appreciation for not only the boats, but the skill that these people have developed over their years of dedication. God bless the American men & women who get up everyday & bust their asses to make great American products.#100percentwatchsquad👊
Great video Hank. I like how the employees have been there for such a long time. Not only do they go into alot of hands on work but you can tell the owners are really great people to work with and for. With that being said happy and dedicated employees equals top quality work #100percentwatchsquad
Working for a large equipment manufacturer, I really appreciate these videos. I love getting to see what goes into the build process. Thanks for taking us around Hank!
I was in that plant in 2003 but they built Tritons back then. It is amazing to see how these boats get put together. I bought a 2000 TR 20 in 2002 and still have it. So Earls boats hold up well!
This was a very informative video. I loved seeing what goes into a Caymas boat in the parts you can't see just looking at the boat. I thought it was neat when they were talking about the foam they put in for flotation to keep it stable.
Great looking shop Caymas! Appreciate the tour around Hank! Gotta appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into each of those boats! #100percentwatchsquad
I have a friend whose husband works there and every time he comes to fish at Guntersville with me I'm literally asking him questions the entire time we're on the water about his job.. and I can tell you one-hundred-percent without a shadow of a doubt that every single time I ask him 100 questions a day every time we're around each other that he literally smiles every time he gives me an answer no matter what it is because he loves his job so much and all the people that he works with.. you're not going to hear that very much in the industry with other manufacturing brands... And I would name-drop but I'm not going to because this is RUclips and I don't want all your subs digging into his social media and all that😂😂.. he's just a regular dude that has a non regular job and it's super cool... And yes he has a caymas and it's SUPPPEEERRRRRRR BAD ASS!!!! I know that he's not the only one in the world running that boat, but the way that he was able to get his done because he works there, it's just different that's all I can say.. but I'm happy for you to see you in a new boat!! You deserve it, you've worked your ass off for years.. stay safe and watch out for the idiots 😂🎣✌️
Great video. I have seen the plant tour on another video. This is a great product. I am interested in the 21 ft. bass pro model. Putting that gas tank in the middle is a big plus. People don't realize the weight involved. Anyway, I could go on and on but good plant tour. Enjoy your CAYMAS.
That was so friggin' cool Hank. To see the process from start to finish was amazing. The attention to detail. The commitment to their craft. Some of those machines ain't cheap! The pride in ownership. Looks like a great place to work too. Thank you (and Jeremy) for the guided tour. I think I'm going to take a closer look at Caymas when it's time to buy my boat. And tell them Hank sent me. 🤘😎🎣 #100percentwatchsquad
Amazing! Excellent boats, and Great interviews and information. Really appreciate you taking us along in there Hank. Very well done. 👍👍 ps Bass are really biting here in central Texas! 🙂🎣👌
#100percentwatchsquad. Awesome video on how Caymas boats are built. Definitely looks like a top notch machine. Great meeting you at the BMC also. Looking forward to the next video from ya'.
I almost bought a Caymas called the plant in 2021 and threw my buddy Doug Garrett's name out there, I even went to Triton to pick Doug's first Triton up met Earl and have a really unique idea to platform on but ended up going the Nitro now Ranger route just never heard back from Caymas. I'm working on my dime and I'll get it done.
Just picked up some rage bugs to flip around on watts bar next weekend. I got a tournament for the highschool, gonna be some spawn action going on hopefully.
Great video, however I feel that Caymas could be more in a productive manner in order to keep the costs down. Use the Henry Ford approach. It would not effect quality of the boat just more boats per year.
How was it not a tour. We literally showed you EVERY part of the plant and what was being done in each place. Please show us all how well you can do it. Oh great one...
The employee presentations were the best. You can only do that if you treat people well and this company clearly does. Congrats to Caymas.
They are a killer group of people for sure

Man that’s coo!
@@BassGeek my hubby is the guy in your video in the red T-shirt pushing the dolly trying not to be awkward. Lol 🤣🤣🤣
I was the guy painting the deck to that bass boat deck
Thank you for your hard work.

No ya really don’t but that tells ya how well they treat them
Earl B. King of bass boats.
Yup!

Yes indeed they seem to love it
Even and consistent as the worker flails his legs over the rail doing “the most important part”
Trust me he knows what he's doing.

I’ll give that a MASSIVE AMEN!
Hank that is a great video, I love how the main man knows his employees and that they have been there for a long time. That is a true leader. Awesome.
Yeah it really is awesome
I've worked for Earl most of my adult life since 1988 and I must say it's been like working for and with family.
Nice! That’s awesome to hear

Call’em they’ll hook ya up
Stop in and see us we would love to take you on a tour also
Caymas look like solid boats. Would def consider one. Me and my tourney partner were just talking about them the other day.
Man they are the best built boat out there
Great job
Thank you
