1948 Ford F1 pick up swapping a tired flathead 6 cylinder with a '71 Lincoln 460 big block Ford, C6 transmission, and Ford 9 inch rear axle. Plus, front disc brakes and power brake master cylinder and other upgrades and modifications. - Авто/Мото
Well done
Thank you Scott. The vent functions so much smoother now and the new seal has been keeping the rain out. Now just need to fix the windshield leaks, haha! thanks for watching!
Nice Gary!! - teddy
It's been great to get the truck back on the road. Thanks for watching!!
Interesting that you said the vent cover was held on with screws. On my truck they are small bolts, so there is no need for a screw driver in there, You use a small wrench.
You are correct Kirk, the vent cover was held on by bolts not screws. All of the original stuff was rusted or broken, I replaced the them with stainless machine screws and allen head bolts. Thanks for watching!! Keep on truckin'
I have a 1948 Ford F1 complete frame off restoration but cannot find a cowl screen for it. Nobody sells it
Hi Vince, I didn't realize that those are not reproduced. If it was a rat I'd say make something that'll work, but a resto is a whole other story. Looks like swap meets or ebay is in your future. Thanks for watching!!
more cow bell
This one goes to eleven..
Thanks for watching Lucky!
