Really enjoying this deck tech. It's a great snow commander

Very cool, I'm going to tweak and run this. By tweak, I mean play with cards I have access to, which is less good.

Great deck list and thank you for being calm and not screaming lol I went through 4 or 5 videos of dudes being loud and hyperactive before I found yours. I very much appreciate the relaxing tone and elevator music in the background haha

Great deck tech. To be more synergistic I would replace the non-snow dorks for enchant lands such as Utopia Sprawl, wild growth and similar.
They get untapped with jorn or with the Snow dorks and adds more mana 1 one turn.

I think at 4:10 you meant Mana Sink, not mana Sync lol
But hey cool deck and explanations.

with rimefeather owls ability you can also turn am opponents permanent into snow and his power /toughneas is equal snowpermanents in play

  • @NekoValtz

For protection I would think whispersilk cloak is a must. I mean unblockable and shroud really protects him and lets him attack

Draugr necromanxer ability is a replacement effect. so it shuts down die triggers if opponents.

I would include Rimefeather Owl in this deck. That way all of the permanents can be snow and this deck should be able to generate enough mana to cast him

    • @CommandValley

That’s true. The only thing stopping me was the fact that it’s a dead card if I didn’t have other non-snow permanents to convert. If I had more non-snow permanents in the deck, I think I would have mainboarded it. - Peter

@@CommandValley don't forget that Rimefeather Owl cares about all snow permanents in play, not just your own. So there's a good reason to spend extra mana to put counters on your opponent's permanents

@@CommandValley it's also way to slow to run realistically

Would the snow creatures attacking with jorn untap after combat?

Needs more protection for jorn, cuz with out him the deck really doesn’t do much. Also can use some better removal. I guess if the goal is just to play snow stuff then it’s fine but I was really hoping to see something interesting, like weird mana sinks or a voltron strategy that is all about protecting Jorn since if you protect him you have either access to a ton of mana to cast spells or you can leave mana up to respond to threats. But just putting snow stuff in the deck is cool I guess, I just think it lacks interaction. Has this been play tested?

Hi Michael, great suggestion! I did just try to pack as much interesting snow stuff into the deck, and I’m always looking for ways to improve the deck! I didn’t talk about them in the video, but I did put the Rimewood Wizards that help with interaction and work well with snow permanents, and if you can make them snow and untap then you can interact multiple times in a turn. They’re the best for snow that I could find besides the other interaction spells I have, so I definitely agree that you could put better interaction and protection in there. Thanks for stopping by! - Peter

Question. can I use Jorn with just one side?

  • @zamorvex

I took a list of the main deck but I keep coming to 94 cards and not 100 and I don't know why as I took everything down. Eg hailstorm valkary wasn't in the video from what I saw. Can someone tell me if they are seeing a different thing from me?

I’ll get on the case, but in the meantime you can check out the Scryfall link in the description to take you to the deck list that is not missing anything, then click export to get a copyable list. - Peter

@@CommandValley I know. Please don't think I'm being rude about it. That's absolutly not my intention. Just wanted to point it out so ur already fantastic content can be as good as it can be xx again not my intention to sound rude or nit-picky. It's just I'm actually deaf and a mute. I play with people who aren't so I had to learn how to communicate triggers and abilities through alternate means. And I've found captions on youtube not very reliable in all honesty so I just thought I'd point out the we overlooked bit just so that when u edit it's something to look out for 😅😊
Hope I didn't offend or anything, just hoping to help out and bring things to the forefront xx
I love ur videos and can't wait for ur next video.
      Stay safe out there 💞
