At about 18:08 in the vid- Looks like the tank on the ground is frosted up. This happens due to the volume of LP the unit is drawing out of the bottle. (Propane forges run for long periods do the same to 20 and even 100lb tanks) It will cause the flow from the bottle to sputter. If you can, stick the bottle in a bucket of water. It will help slow/prevent the freeze up. 🥶👍🤘
Chrome, suggest you put some foam under the shower unit once stowed. It may help when your bouncing around. There may be some sensitive parts inside. Love the channel.
From Australia here, it's grate that people from other countries can enjoy our products that are made down under. As for the dust problem, I'm not sure. But so you know most of our outback is desert 🏜 🤔. Though I live in Tasmania, with from what I seen is a lot like Your Vancouver Island. Cheers. Never miss a upload thanks for your honest video's.
Hot water on demand ! AWESOME ! TRUST the creek stays full ! Where's the water coming from into the creek ! Super Fantastick ! Be lovely to use a big rain Barrell for off Grid living anywhere !!
You are seriously one dude who can have a shower scene with a totally wholesome vibe. Not sure how, other than just your enthusiasm and pure enjoyment of the warm water.
Chrome thats awesome, much more convenient than those black plastic bags you have to sit in the sun and then wait. You can take a shower in the middle of the night and nobody has to wait. Safe travels, and happy showering
Game changer. Wow, I bet their sales from North America are going to fly up after this video. I think I smell a sponsorship!! Love the excitement Chrome and I know why. This will change my overlanding life. Awesome!
Make sure you get water out of pump. If it freezes water will expand and break stuff. Maybe take air and blow everything out.? From experience. Take care
Every time I take a outside shower I think, "How cool is this!!!" Welcome to the club. Best thing ever is under a full moon or no moon with the stars...so peaceful. It's the little things like this that I miss about being nomad - I'll be back!
I love your joyful laughter as you first try out the shower. Looks awesome. I'm going to get myself one. How much propane does it use for a five-minute shower? Could you tell?
Tie wrap it to the tire carrier when you use it. If it works, have mounted permanently. I bought the nomad set for my build out. I'll let you know how it goes.
I love long and hot showers too. My inner child is so so happy about it. Maybe get shower tent for less private areas and it will stay less cold when getting dressed again.
Save the wildlife from clawing their eyes out seeing naked guy and get the shower curtain set-up....lol! Definitely a game changer across several alternative lifestyles. Thank you for all you do and this summers EPIC trip content!
I have had one of these hot showers for about 2yrs now...I just Love it..!... I also purchased the 2 room shower tent it wus a must.!... great review Chrome..!
What a game-changer for off-griders, hunters, fishermen, and such. I live in Louisiana, so I wouldn't trust our water, however, the water up north in the mountains is perfect for that shower!
AND.. if you are not near a water source (stream, etc) you can drop the pump in the 5 gallon bucket.. without having to do all the work heating the water! Awesome... game changer for sure...
Okay! That is wicked. I know my shower at our off grid cabin in the Cariboo will be changed to this rig! The best part is how easy it is to hook up...game changer for sure.
I wonder how Mr. Cruz will like being bathed with it? Glad to see how happy you are with your new shower Chrome. I'm sure Emi is glad now too. She will be able to stay around you for a longer period of time. 🤣
That is a game changer for sure. I love watching the products you find to make Off Grid living a little more user friendly. Thanks for sharing, Chrome.
For a steep incline > 4 meters up , put the pump ,Jackery, and short hose by the water source and pump up the long hose. 16 feet is the limit a perfect vacuum can draw.
Pretty amazing! I hope you protect it with some foam or something like that while you're out roaming around on those back roads! Glad to see you so happy!
Thanks for the demo. Looks amazing. Simple solution for placing the unit: Just buy a couple "S" hooks and hang it by the handle off of your van ladder. Pack everythying back in the drawar when done
You gotta love the little things. If you're going to mount the shower unit to the outside of your van ,you're going to have to be extra careful going through those tight back country areas you love ramming your van into. One thick branch could possibly take it out. Stay weird my friend 😎🤟
Yes Chrome! You have all the nice upgrades to your Van Life! I really like that hot water tap shower. You are so resourceful for many Van Lifers out there. Keep up the great Van life improvements!👍🏼👍🏼😄😄😄👍🏼👍🏼💜
"One thing about this island man, is if you get "high enough" you can see ocean all over the place". Tru that, ha ha! Welcome back to the wet (and weirdly cold) coast! Great shower hook up. The simple pleasures of life really are felt after one has done without for a time. I've lived without running water for 12 years now. One day I will have a shower at my own home again! Enjoy the heck out of yours!
Solution to the dust, just wrap the nozzles in saran wrap before putting the cover on. Or a ziploc bag with rubber bands. That is a seriously cool setup!
I don't even live vanlife but I am soooo happy for you ! Yes you have options to get clean but it's so rewarding to witness the pure joy you have from something so many people take for granted. A welcome reminder.
Reminds me of the combi gas boiler in my flat. When you turn on the hot tap, the boiler ignites and you have hot water. Also does central heating, but a radiator and pipes would be a bit heavy in a van! Cleaver how they have adapted the technology to an off-grid boiler.
Mount it with magnets like you did the starlink just stick that bracket on the side of van (either side) Put the gas tank in a bag and hanged it with a carabiner
I was surprised that pump pulled the water that well. Usually pumps push better than they pull. Very nice! I bet if you had a shower pan that could catch and recirculate the water like the 'Hour Shower' you could get the water hotter and increase the pressure. Too cool.
Shower curtain is an overkill. You use it near a water source that is usually backcountry, not walmart parking lot. Just be naked or wear swim trunks if other campers are nearby. I use outside open shower everyday after pool time wearing a two-piece suit.
Thank you for the review on a product that I've been looking at. Like the idea of the side shower awning, if not you could weld it on the tire rack no one would even see it. Yes use it before you commit, that's what I'll be doing with my van. Yes I said my van picking it up this coming week 😊 SUV build has been taken apart, it was so emotional, time to make new memories ☺️ Much love Weirdo 🤗🤗
For your shower enclosure, 1" PVC pipe and a tarp or shower curtain. PVC pipe frame could hook to your existing roof rack or use heavy duty magnets. Like weight and packs down small. :)
Hi Chrome Wayne from Oregon. So happy to see how much you love your Joolca shower. I've had mine for three years and I agree i'ts FANTASTIC !!!! If you get a chance check out the DFG Offroad shower tent that hooks to your crossbars on your van. ( it has a built-in LED light so you can even shower at night) Ride easy brother and keep those video's comin'
I think it’s cool that the shower works on your smallest Jackery, makes the shower more affordable! If you had a pop up shower tent it would have been like a steam shower!
The level of excitement on your face is next level bro. Can you imagine installing this outside the Ambo? Stay blessed guys one love from beautiful Trinidad and Tobago ❤ 🇹🇹.

And maybe some rubber cupboard backing so the shower doesn't bounce
and on the underside of the lid too so it's sandwiched in. Also a soft-ish foam to isolate it from vibrations.
This is too cool.. I have to get me one of them.
From Australia here, it's grate that people from other countries can enjoy our products that are made down under. As for the dust problem, I'm not sure. But so you know most of our outback is desert 🏜 🤔. Though I live in Tasmania, with from what I seen is a lot like Your Vancouver Island. Cheers.

Be lovely to use a big rain Barrell for off Grid living anywhere !!
Joolca needs to thank you for such an awesome review! The warm shower out in the cold looked absolutely lovely!
Thanks!
I’m so happy I found your post for building your first bed(which I copied in 2019). To my Jackery 500 & 1000.
Thanks for this. The bed platform was super solid and simple.
You are seriously one dude who can have a shower scene with a totally wholesome vibe. Not sure how, other than just your enthusiasm and pure enjoyment of the warm water.

cannot wait to see Cruzie getting a bath with your new Joolca.
Great shower. Only thing is getting all the water out of the system components in winter weather so nothing gets damaged from freezing.
Man unlimited water from a stream can't be anything better no worry about using your water nice very nice❤️❤️❤️❤️
Make sure you get water out of pump. If it freezes water will expand and break stuff. Maybe take air and blow everything out.? From experience. Take care
Get some ikea deck tiles for when you shower so your feet aren't in the mud or grass. Keeps things a little cleaner. Just an FYI
Awsome shower unit 👌
Every time I take a outside shower I think, "How cool is this!!!" Welcome to the club. Best thing ever is under a full moon or no moon with the stars...so peaceful. It's the little things like this that I miss about being nomad - I'll be back!
So Happy you showed the whole Process. From start to finish. Great Video
Your positivity is contagious!
Chrome, that shower is totally awesome but it is even more awesome that
you found a sweet spot by a creek so close to your shop!
Never thought I’d be excited to watch a video of a guy take a hot shower in the woods before 😅
I love your joyful laughter as you first try out the shower. Looks awesome. I'm going to get myself one. How much propane does it use for a five-minute shower? Could you tell?
Nobody can call you a dirty vanlifer now!😂 love how excited you get over simple things. Keep living your dream dude
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Best thing I've ever seen. How do I find it?
Keep it indoors , for you love tight roads of the back country with lots of dust so the case is great idea. Thanks for sharing this moment
you can use your air compressor to blow the water out of the lines when your done if you want or need to.
Showers at 0 😱, sold !!! That's a cool unit 😎. Happy to see you Glowing. Have a great day Chrome
Before you mount it on the side, remember the narrow places with branches rubbing against your van. This may damage the bag and unit. Just a thought.
This is very cool
Tie wrap it to the tire carrier when you use it. If it works, have mounted permanently.
I bought the nomad set for my build out. I'll let you know how it goes.

More fun to shower au naturelle in NATURE
I tend to run trails like that hopefully I don't ever run into a naked vanlifer 🙄😆
Those pop up shower tents may work too. Get something like a wooden grate to stand on too.
I have had one of these hot showers for about 2yrs now...I just Love it..!... I also purchased the 2 room shower tent it wus a must.!... great review Chrome..!
So happy for you Chrome and I enjoyed seeing you takin a shower and feeling the moment.
Great video Chrome, if that company doesn't reach out and sponsor some future videos, they're fools.
So glad for you!!! You are a free man with hot water, love your bathroom decor, so wild!!! 😍
Omg chrome I can't smell you any more. In joy your new show, its just what you needed to camp any place close to water.
A large storage tote makes a great bathtub or even some thick black plastic slung between some logs can be an impromptu bathtub!
Okay! That is wicked. I know my shower at our off grid cabin in the Cariboo will be changed to this rig! The best part is how easy it is to hook up...game changer for sure.
Perfect set up for tiny home/cabin use!
OMG you absolute legend that’s awesome! I’ve been looking for a shower system for my microcamper and I’m blown away by this! Thank you SO much 😊
you just look so excited but this shower sure is a great item for any van lifers or rvers
Omg game changer Chrome.. I loooooove this shower system. I personally like the idea of having it on the back tire..
Yep back tire set up sounds the best and he can put up a shower curtain in the back as well!
Agreed.. how cool is this Robin! Wow.. just wow.. AND it’s affordable!
Like when man discovered fire you’re like man discovering a shower. Your enthusiasm over this item is just infectious, I was happy just watching you
G'day mate and cruse when we Auzzies invent something we do it right I knew you would love it 😀 stay safe Ann 🐨
Wow I love how you live in your van life I want to get my wife into it but she says that she wants somewhere to go during the winter
You could set up a shower curtain and use a drain tray in your shop with the joolca during the winter months.
But I don't think he has a water source at the shop. Where is he going to get the water from.? I think he mentioned that before.
@@julien2912 If I remember correctly. he has a sink in the shop
@@julien2912 he can use a bucket of water
I wonder how Mr. Cruz will like being bathed with it?
Glad to see how happy you are with your new shower Chrome.
I'm sure Emi is glad now too. She will be able to stay around you for a longer period of time. 🤣
Chrome I love ur High Energy, you remind me of a kid at a birthday party. keep it up, take care my(Weirdo Friend) hollern at u from West Tennessee USA
Love the Joolca and your enthusiasm.👍♥️
That is a game changer for sure. I love watching the products you find to make Off Grid living a little more user friendly. Thanks for sharing, Chrome.
Wow what an brilliant. Shower system love it
For a steep incline > 4 meters up , put the pump ,Jackery, and short hose by the water source and pump up the long hose. 16 feet is the limit a perfect vacuum can draw.
This is long overdue. Congrats Chrome. Awesome content.
The "Joy" of having such a fantastic product is totally apearant through out the video. This item is a real game changer.
Pretty amazing! I hope you protect it with some foam or something like that while you're out roaming around on those back roads! Glad to see you so happy!
Love it and now the Joolca Hottap Shower is on my wish list!
Would you revisit the shower system in February. Love your enthusiasm Chrome. Continued best wishes to you and all you hold dear.
I got one similar mounted on the side of my Teardrop Camper in a Pelican Case. Love it!
Awesome! Just be sure to use eco-friendly soap and shampoo/conditioner and toiletries so as to not harm the eco system and animals. Great addition!!
ALWAYS
This is a must have, just ordered the Nomad kit! Can’t wait to receive the product. Thank you for providing the information.
Use a pop up shower tent. You can put them anywhere and use it for potty time as well. Easy to store too.
A portable tankless water heater…I love it!
Thank you Chrome for this very thorough demonstration of this shower.
I sent it to a friend who is just starting vanlife.
❤❤❤
In summer keep water on board and use to cool Cruisy!
Thanks for the demo. Looks amazing. Simple solution for placing the unit: Just buy a couple "S" hooks and hang it by the handle off of your van ladder. Pack everythying back in the drawar when done
that is so cool, glad you found that solution
You gotta love the little things. If you're going to mount the shower unit to the outside of your van ,you're going to have to be extra careful going through those tight back country areas you love ramming your van into. One thick branch could possibly take it out.

That heated shower unit is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!!!
Yes Chrome! You have all the nice upgrades to your Van Life! I really like that hot water tap shower. You are so resourceful for many Van Lifers out there. Keep up the great Van life improvements!👍🏼👍🏼😄😄😄👍🏼👍🏼💜

that shower is great and you can wash your dishes too.
What A Nice Setup Chrome, Nice Hot Shower In The Mountains Of BC😊
I don't even live vanlife but I am soooo happy for you ! Yes you have options to get clean but it's so rewarding to witness the pure joy you have from something so many people take for granted. A welcome reminder.

Yes. Same here and the water is hot immediately.
Can you hear the ocean from up there? Love the new shower!
Brother you totally need a shower tent I have one it’s the best
In addition to the shower, JOOLCA has something like a sink to wash your dishes. For the van you can do what you're doing.
Dude you get more and more awesome with every video. The editing, scenery, information shared and positive spirit is chef's kiss!
install mounting sheet metal on your rear window cutouts, mount the shower unit on the inside of your back door for year round
I love you for being so jazzed about a device..I get it things that improve your daily truly can be epic! Just love you!
OMG!!! Chrome that is awesome, a shower on the go.
Mount it with magnets like you did the starlink just stick that bracket on the side of van (either side) Put the gas tank in a bag and hanged it with a carabiner
Agree. Magnet mount
Woo hoo! There's nothing like a hot shower to get you warmed up and going again!
I was surprised that pump pulled the water that well. Usually pumps push better than they pull. Very nice! I bet if you had a shower pan that could catch and recirculate the water like the 'Hour Shower' you could get the water hotter and increase the pressure. Too cool.
Usually I’m disappointed when I see the prices, but this is very reasonable considering what that thing will do!!
I was very surprised by the prices of this unit. Very economical considering what it does!

Dude, your channel is so epic! Love the enthusiasm for something us house dwellers take for granted. Cheers from norcal 🤙🏽

Much love Weirdo 🤗🤗
Awesome Chrome.
When you roll up each hose, attach each one to itself to create an enclosed loop then no residual water leaks in your van.
I always appreciate your enthusiasm ☺️💙
Pick up a small board to stand on. They have teak shower boards, then you are out of the dirt, mud, snow. Awesome!
For your shower enclosure, 1" PVC pipe and a tarp or shower curtain. PVC pipe frame could hook to your existing roof rack or use heavy duty magnets. Like weight and packs down small. :)
There’s nothing like an outdoor shower.
Your like a big kid at Christmas getting your new toys. I love it.
Hi Chrome Wayne from Oregon. So happy to see how much you love your Joolca shower. I've had mine for three years and I agree i'ts FANTASTIC !!!! Nomadic Movement had one on the back of their bus until they backed into a tree with it! 😵💫Nice option to have. Nice features for sure!
I think it’s cool that the shower works on your smallest Jackery, makes the shower more affordable!
If you had a pop up shower tent it would have been like a steam shower!
