I got my freevision vilta m pro yesterday, and I will be using it with my iPhone XS Max. I decided to get vilta m pro after watching few reviews on vilta m pro vs other gimbals (dji, zhiyun etc. ).
I love your demo video. You covered just about everything on it which I truly thank you for. However, I wished you would have recorded the video in 60fps. It would have looked more buttery smooth.

I purchased the Vilta M, and it worked great for about 3 weeks. Then, it would not calibrate correctly. It's a total albatross. I don't know about this product, but I would certainly think very carefully about buying a Vilta product. Their support is minimal, at best. You might want to spend some more money on a better build and more established brand.
Same issue here. The Volta will not hold the phone on horizontal. There doesn’t seem to be a way to calibrate it. The gimbal does not detect true horizontal.

I have the Vilta M but the motor overheats after about 30mins of consistent use. Have you heard of others experiencing this? Is the Pro version more resilient?
I have a Vilta M-Pro and none of the buttons for the manual camera settings work. The FV support could not help - said this only works with iphones. My phone: Redmi Note 4, Android 7. Which phone and which version of Android do you use?
Do you know where I can get the FV Share app. I bought a Freevision gimbal a couple of years ago to use with my android phone .. it worked well Now I have updated to an iPhone, but for some reason the iOS version of the app is no longer available, which is of course very annoying. I can use it without the app, but there are now many features I can not use.
Nice video. Got me all excited so I picked one up. Sadly, this gimbal doesn't seem to work well with new iPhone 11 Pro. Video Record doesn't work and the the BT disconnects. I hope FV does an update. Or is this an Apple problem. ....

@@franktbuell Hi, I just recieved the gimbal and have big issues getting connected (iPhone 12 Pro). I can see that you also have had connection problems but it is solved now. Can I ask you what you have done to make it work?
Bought this one, it broke from the trigger with in 3 days and the software sucks it’s amazingly smooth but decided return it and bought a DJI it does a way better job tiny less smooth but works every time
What software is best to use as you dabt use Filmicpro apparently. I have also bought a Ulanzi Anamorphic lense but have now found you need Filmicpro or a Apple type version but I have a Huawei P30 Pro on android. Not sure how to resolve these issues... Any ideas guys?
Thanks! Both perform equally as good for this type of task - they are based on the same axis design so they will be identical. However, since the Vilta-M is lighter and smaller, it might be slightly easier to keep it in position. Difference is negligible though :)
Nice review , I just picked this up today . Can't wait to get used to it . I also have the one plus 6 and them shots were so choppy . What was wrong in settings to cause this. ? 24fps in a 30 timeline ? I hope this isn't the end result or I'm sending back . Thanks
@@Vortez Vortez thanks for fast reply , how do I avoid that vfr? Now to sell this damn OnePlus 6 . All android phones seem to have camera2 API limitations , so you cant film 4k 60fps etc on 3rd party apps like filmic . Hate to say it but iPhone might get my money this year . Thanks again
It sounds like the Pro needs a little work, whereas the M is possibly the better of the 2. The wheel zoom would def ruin my vlogs. So, better to opt for the M at this point?

Thanks! Unfortunately we don't have a Note 9 to test. Only thing to suggest is checking the Play store and see what people report with that device for the FV Share App.
I've been trying to find out the following without success ... even from FV ... Is the Note 10+ fully supported? Is tracking and slow motion supported on android? If anyone know I'd greatly appreciate it!
bro wanted to ask you the app continuously keeps crashing on Andriod 9 and 10. Any solution because I already bought it and is there any other way to connect the gimbal to your phone??
I have original ViltaM for over year now and I never make it work properly tbh. App is nightmare, not appearing itself when connected, keeps disconnecting from phone via Bluetooth. Object tracking loosing object in few sec. Going to sleep mode itself. Such a waste of my money.
The controls won't work with the Snapchat app... but of course you can use Snapchat while the phone is mounted to the gimbal and still benefit from the smooth, stabilized motion.

Wow, that's definitely defective. You should get in touch with supoort. I've used both the M and Pro for well over an hour without any issues.

Thanks! The original video files were variable frame rate which I didn't realise until getting them onto the timeline. Enjoy the gimbal, it's great!

The app has been fine on Android for me (Oneplus 6). Haven't tried Filmic Pro unfortunately so can't comment.

No I don't believe it does - Pro has Time Lapse, Motion Time Lapse and Motion lapse.
