HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 29 дек 2022
- In this episode; I show you guys how to adapt Corvette Brakes to your factory spindle and hub setup. This process is the same for both S10's and G-Bodie's, as they share the same braking setup as well as the same spindle. This awesome upgrade will work for either. Lemme tell ya, they work quite well.
Thanks so much for watching! If you watch till the end, your name will go down in history as an absolute legendary Chad.

Legend Status… great instructional video thanks. Going to do this conversion on my g body.
Legend
Of the s10
Hi 👋 👋 👋 👋 👋 Roman just some advice on taping. Starting with the drilling 1st use some tap magic and then with the taping still tap magic and when turning the tap you go in a ways back it out and then back in. By doing it this way you get smoother threads and that way you won't ever cross tread any of your bolts hope the info will help you in other jobs as well. Anyway thanks for listening thanks Ray
Thanks for the advice, Ray! I appreciate it, my friend. Thanks for the continued support😄
Glad you are back to posting videos.
Thanks for being here! I appreciate it!
Legend status.
Great video, clear walkthroug of the whole process.
Great informative video. This would be a great upgrade to my G-body wagon, thanks for rockin' the camera dude!
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. And do it! It’s a great upgrade
Oh you tryna STOP, stop hu?
I’m glad to see you posting again buddy. You already know I’m watching till the end.
Bro I’m tryna STAHP, Stop😂 thanks for the support man, I really appreciate it. Hope you’re doing well these days brother!
When not torquing to spec or breaking out a dial indicator for proper end play ALWAYS use the S10 owner approved "yank and push" method...As a Master Mack+Volvo Technician, an FMCSA+NCDOT inspector as well as the owner of 7 S10s...it's perfect when you say "click" while using any apparatus for tightening and a verbal "perfect, gotcha, nailed it, or good enough for my house" is exclaimed....APPROVED!😊😊
Love the video Bro. I stayed through the whole video. Thanks for showing us updates that we can do to our s10's.
Absolutely my man! Thanks for watching the video in its entirety! I really appreciate it, you’re a legend😄
I was actually looking into brake upgrades for my g body for stock spindles . Super helpful tutorial and how to ,most do not go into fine detail but ,keep up the good work also dig the s10 build

Thanks for watching! It absolutely is😄
Nice informative video man! Well done.
Legend status, yo. I'm just starting an S10 build now. Think I will use the vett calipers instead of the wilwoods I was planning. I always like OEM upgrades.
Legend. Thanks for the video man!
Legend staus. Thanks for the info. Crystal clear
Very informative, although I know next to nothing about cars ;)
Thank you!! I appreciate it! Hope you are doing well, my friend!
I did the Blazer brake swap on my 94 5.3 swap project. Not on the road yet but the factory wheels still fit just fine.
Thanks for the info brother ! 👊🏻
Glad to see your back man I think I messaged your dad a while back to see what happened to ya lol
I think he mentioned that to me lol, I appreciate your support my man!!
While typing I forgot you were a 1st Gen. LOL we just did a 1984 Merc Diesel swapped S10. Thing rips, building a. LQ right now for the 82 single cab.
Legend ......... i have a 91 s10 blazer sport i'm putting a 5.3 engine in. C5 brakes will work good on this.
legend status
You are a legend, my friend!! Thanks for watching!
@@RomanMeissner love watching your videos cause it inspires me to work on my s10!
I dig it 😎 👌
And 9" 275 isn't bad, I run a 315 rear on my 99 with an 11". And 215s on a 6" wide front-- 99ZR292 or Beasyphone on S10forum ls1tech, ls1forum,etc HOLLAR
what wheel and tire set up are you running? looks awesome, hope for my s10 to look like this one day!!
I’m interested in this setup for my s10, how well do they work now that you’ve driven the truck
I have a question. When you machined the hub, did you just take off the same amount of material as the thickness of the C5 rotor? So the wheel wouldn't stick out any further than it did before?
Subscribed!
Did you have to also upgrade the master cylinder and brake lines?
🙃 Safety first
What brake lines did you use and how did you adapt them to the factory lines?
Is that the exact same s 10 you have had since you started
How much did Machine Shop charge you to turn the rotors down?
Where did you get the hubs with no rotors on them
I got the factory hub/rotor setup machined down to just the hub. Thanks for watching!😄
mind sharing the offset of your wheels? legend status hoping to hear it
@25:30.. Whoa! Aren't you supposed to at least use correct shims for spacing as you're no longer running the factory dust shield? Honest question about 1st gens, I am 100% SURE it's a yes on 2nd generation but I'd imagine it'd be the same, no?
It’s not an issue on the this setup as the dust shield doesn’t get sandwhiched between the knuckle and hub bearing like the 98+ Blazer swap does. 82-03 2wd trucks still used the old style serviceable bearings 🤘🏻
Could of used a socket for tap
eeeeYaYa
"Xtra careful" no pants, probably rainbows, no sleeves or gloves, Oakley? LOL I see you dude😅😅
Edit: lol = next scene...garden gloves. Hey bro, baby steos..baby steps haha
Good to see some videos man! You should give me a call or shoot me a text soon!
Thanks for watching my man! I’ll hit you up soon here!
Why do you need wheel adapters? The s10, corvette and Camaro use 5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern?
You are correct. The rotors themselves will slip right on to the hub. The adapters are only to make my wheels fit as they are 5x4.5. Thanks for watching!
