Almost everything single texture in the game has been replaced! If SEGA released a HD remaster of Heroes would you expect more than this?
Also when adding in the timestamps I realized I forgot to edit in Bullet Station, RIP.
I'd probably expect less from SEGA tbh.
I'd expect a lot less if the SA1/2 remasters are of any indication, I don't count Colors Ultimate since not only is that something they put more time into, I'm also looking at this with how they handled games before Colors/Free Riders.
Maybe they'll update the textures but that's about it, the cutscenes will look the same as they did on GC/PS2/XBOX, and the voice acting will be the same. If they added like online multiplayer or a way to mix and match the characters together on a different Super Hard Mode, that'd be cool, but I don't expect them to do that at all.
Finally, an updated look for heroes. They would probably just update the resolution and fix some bugs like everyone else.

Normally texture mods don't appeal to me, but this game desperately needed it.

Agreed, the environments look so nice comin from someone who was obsessed with this game on ps2.
Though the character models do look a bit too washed out for my taste
I miss these voice actors the only one that could change is tails to his current voice actor or the sonic x voice actor. But this voice actor is heavily nostalgic to me growing up
Agreed but imo the new once aren’t bad, Tail’s voice in Heroes is fine imo.
Same these will always be what i think of when i think of the sonics cast voices, especially espio i thought his voice here was peak, tails i can see how people dont like but i dont mind personally

Agreed, he captures Sonic the most and is nostalgic from the day’s when I was watching Heroes C.G.I cutscene’s & Nazo Unleashed from 10 year’s ago or something.
He was the best Sonic's voice, I miss him too.

simply incredible. this was the first game i ever played as a super young kid, and i remember very vividly just how stunning this game looked back then. genuinely had me staring at the textures for the skyboxes for minutes on end, i thought this game was beautiful. these hd textures really bring back those feelings, even if just for a moment. thank you for showcasing this
There hasn't been a more epic climatic battle in a Sonic game since. Love it!
Although I don't personally think all the changes are for the better,
overall this is really impressive!
Especially Rail Canyon 37:30 looks incredible!
Would love to see a remastered version. Heroes is my favorite 3D Sonic and quite possibly my favorite Sonic.

Everything is better looking and more vibrant, my only criticism is I prefer the "SPEED, POWER, FLY" words over the symbols, cause they blend with the background and the floating signs just look like holes

Yes, it had flaws, but what a great Sonic game! The music, cinematics, voice actors, environments, the speed and platform sequences… My usual critic about Sonic games is that they punish you for going fast at some point by putting enemies and traps on your way. This never bothered me in this one.

I know it's not possible but it would be cool if the models reacted to the light.
Now all we need it to have someone make higher poly models of everything (not just the characters)
the biggest difference isn't the texture upscales, its the lighting engine, and it looks great.

Is there a mod for Modern Sound FX? Like the newer sound for Springs, Dash Panels, 1 ups etc. Like the Sonic Adventure 2 Modern Mod. That mod would work wonderful with this Mod.

I got an idea for a Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 remaster.
Sonic Adventure 1:
Sonic the Hedgehog:
His physic’s are even smoother as when running in more tubiler (misspelling) section’s, it’s not jerky and shakey (another misspelling).
The player can’t spam his Spin-Dash but he can activate it faster then in S.A.2.
Sonic has his Light-Speed Dash from S.A.2 and is more refined.
The level’s are more wider with more path-way’s to take and Sonic can play around with his rolling physic’s like in the Classic’s.
The camera is fixed too, this can help in the final level’s too.
Mile’s Tail’s Prower:
Tail’s has his Spin-Dash, is able to preform a Super Tail’s Peel-Out which is Tail’s-Spin but act’s like the Super Peel-Out.
His level’s are no longer about racing but are designed around his abilities and requires Tail’s flight abilities.
Knuckle’s the Echidna:
There 2 more level’s, they’re wider too like in S.A.2 and Tikal wouldn’t lead you to the Master Emerald pieces.
Amy Rose:
She’s a bit fast but not too fast so she can go through level’s that were designed around her slower speed without getting hit too much by Badnik’s.
She also has 2 more level’s too.
Big the Cat:
He’s a plat-former now, he can run and is as fast as Amy, a basic jump like the Avatar from Sonic Forces, Fishing Pole he can use on enemies.
He can still fish which the places that he does fish in have Badnik’s.
E102.Gamma:
His level’s are like S.A.2 Mech level’s, built around his move-set’s.
The Green-Shield & Electric-Shield can project Badnik projectile’s too.
Boss-Battle’s are more refined, like the character Boss-Battle’s aren’t just keep damaging them when they run around, they’re more like Eggman & Chaos Boss-Battle’s but they’re faster to beat.
Okay I’ll do S.A.2 & Sonic Heroes later.
What always bugged me is that espio's aura is blue but vector and charmy's are close to their colors
for some reason i cant load it on fullscreen it's always windowed (I use reloaded 2)
I mean, everything here looks fine... numbers in the UI, I remember them looking more like Vipnagorgialla. Which I think was used in the OG... Everything ELSE is fine, the textures look great!
How can I find the computer version of this game? Also, how can I adjust these HD settings? The Gamebanana website was very confusing. That's why I couldn't do it.

Definitely grateful for the community cause even if sega decided to remaster it I still feel it won’t come close to this

Checkpoint Particles are non existant & the signs showing flight/speed/power seem.. incomplete
the red bubbles & crates seem to not be shaded correctly with their textures.
some of the item boxes, like in bingo highway look.. off
lighting is not as dark as it should be in Hang Castle & Final Fortress
other than those.. is cool

Sonic Overtime is there a way to get Sonic Heroes, Sonic Colours Wii, or Sonic 06 on PC?
There is an actual PC version of heroes. Just extremely hard to find, google may be your friend. For Sonic Colors you can rip your ISO from the wii and play it in Dolphin. Similar thing with Sonic 06 but with XEX files. Xenia can play it.
@@sonicovertime I don't have a Wii. I have a series S Xbox. So I might be out of luck for 06 and Colours probably right?
@@sonicinfinity2162 Well if you have a Series S, you should be able to get Colors Ultimate on it. They did alot of patches, I'd recommend just getting that instead of emulating it.
Sadly out of luck for 06 though, unless they add it for backwards compatibility later.

People really complained about this masterpiece?? Shows you how ungrateful the world can be. If this came out now with todays tech, it would be a HIT. Of course it had some “issues” back then. And even with those issues it’s a better Sonic game than all the bs they’re doing nowadays

Well, it's a great job, i have to confess... but, some textures seems more "darker" than the original game, the coins doesn't bright anymore.. the jump stations on seaside hill it's dark too and some details it's darker than the original game, the first level everything is brither and colorful in the original.. it's my opinion.. of course

I always leveled up flight first.
It sort of depends on the stage for me, but flight can be pretty op on enemies. xD
@@sonicovertime yeah. Range is the best to go first. It starts destroying things at 2.
@@Ando1428 I max out speed characters first, no more flipping enemies over to best them, just plow through them and go fast.
Flight's great but they're so slow, and there's one thing I'm not playing a Sonic game for.

I never really like hero's graphics. I always thought they sucked. Adventure 2 honestly had better graphics and this mod truly encapsulates that feeling. Much better than freaking plastic saturated water colored lighting

I wonder what's the point of making the not gloss. Awhole Heroes style is rooted on this happy-meal toys like gloss effect, they look at the same time like a plastic and soft as a plasticine - so why the author did nothing but upscaling textures, yet thought that it will help it if models will look something like 06 or... what? They just too dark .
