Can you imagine if a conservative judge wrote a childrens' book? It'd probably be called 'F*** Everyone Except Me.'

Could you imagine any of the recently seated judges having a positive conversation like this? This is humanity at its best, and is the antithesis of what the modern social conservatives represent.

I have nothing but respect for both of these people as individuals, but if I'm being honest, this walking-on-eggshells, let's-talk-about-childrens'-books-while-our-country-collapses-around-us format didn't do either of them any favors.
I know Seth is capable of holding much more substantive conversations than this, and I know Justice Sotomayor is a deep and powerful thinker with strong opinions, legal or otherwise, about any number of extraordinarily pertinent issues. If the civility of their respective positions doesn't allow them to really speak meaningfully and eye-to-eye about the things I'm sure each would rather have been talking about, maybe this interview would've been better off avoided.
