One is killing it. I get way more into the Thai matches and BJJ matches than I do the MMA. The talent they have and are developing is 2nd to none. I hope they keep growing and their business model holds up. Seem to be making the right steps so far..

What would you think made the difference? Both are super experienced and skilled grapplers. My guess it was not so much difference in technique (BJJ vs Sambo) as were the speed and explosiveness of Ruotolo. Kurzev is older and a little bit slower. Maybe he has better stamina but within the first four minutes that counts for less. Am I missing something?
The closet thing to ancient Pale( Greek wrestling) would be catch wrestling ( pin or submission). I would love this ruotolo brother against a catch wrestler like Kevin Lloyd. Kevin Lloyd is, yes a pro wrestler, but he is also a LEGIT catch wrestler ( assistant coach at snake pit Wigan), bjj grappler ( bronze medal at 2022 empire grappling. Advanced level), and freestyle wrestler.
