I know I sounded informercial-y but I have really enjoyed making them and I know there are others like me who want a fast gift knit. The orange yarn is looking so good in Thistle Seeds!
Thanks, Kalen! I'm laughing thinking of how long this 8 minute video has taken me to make with all of that editing, lol. I want to do more but I need a faster workflow. 😂
Me too! I started mine with that orange skein from PassionKnits and I can't get over how good the slip stitches look with that variegated colorway! I just stop knitting and admire it. Totally worth the tiny yarn and needles thing :)
The KAL is over but I’ll be knitting these in the future and am now. I show progress on my podcast episodes and you can search others who have on instagram. It’s just getting cool here so I’ll enjoy trying these out as house socks and seeing how the wool wears. I hope you have as much fun making them as I have!
Hahahaha! As I was editing I thought, "Wow, this sounds infomercial!" but I've been wanting to do shorter videos on my thoughts about specific projects. We'll see if I actually follow thru on all of that.... I feel like I'm capitalizing on her patterns for Christmas gift-knitting "content."
@@mysocalledhandmadelife THE CONTENT!!! But seriously - I love this little short form video! I think it's perfect for a pattern like this, that IS highly recommended and awesome.
The amazing thing was that an 8-minute video took most of a day to edit. Why do I choose to do the weirdest things that are also hard? Like I told my husband, "I learned how to remove backgrounds, cut, and paste to make a gif in photoshop!" and he's like," Let me see" and I show him the banana socks over the mantle. 🤦♀Why do I do this with all my "free time?" lol
As always, you make me giggle. Thanks for the PSA my sweet friend. 🤗

I love your editing with the humorous inserts! 😂

Very very similar to the Autumn Acorn’s magic heel!
😂 I am still enjoying my pair with skinny little needles and yarn. I love that I’ll be able to use up all the yarn without mathing.

Sold! Is the kal still going on? The last pattern for no heel sock I purchased didn’t work out so I’m excited to try these. Thank you!
