I enjoyed watching this video! Great work! My question is, why leave an tiny gap along the vertical edge of the glass? Why not make one consistent smooth cut from the hinge side of door, all the way around, to the seal, on the open side of door? Is it so there is no chance of peeling from opening & shutting door, even with a filed edge or micro edged install?
You should make a video about tinting the back window of a convertible in your video you said you can tint it all though that corvette is a soft top which would fold when you retract it
Everybody has their different technique...I divide the stress or fingers in half...some to the top n some to the bottom smaller fingers...that way you don't have to shrink those big azz fingers at the bottom...it's not written in stone that u can't do that...n I don't like taking things apart...add more solution for the tint to slide n pressing the glass out when applying the film it'll slide down eliminating the need to remove the gasket...just my two cents from all my years of tinting...n they're not hard just time consuming after you learn from experience...
If you let the Tint drive for a few days and you do it right without peeling the gasket and prying open the door panel and shouldn’t it be OK. You are risking breaking a clipping the door panel or bending or tearing the gasket. I’d rather not do your technique.
If that Corvette owner seen you plying open his door panel and gasket just to apply Tint then I I’m pretty sure he would be upset and not want you to tint his car because you look reckless doing that..You are risking breaking a door panel clip or bending some thing and that’ll cost a lot of money to fix that Corvette door panel.
Kyle i always let them know when speaking to them. Anything under 20% will be a bit harder to see and in certain areas it may be illegal. We show them samples of the tint they want on glass just to let them know exactly how it’ll look. Whether they want to have it done or not we make sure they’re well aware of the shade, quality, risks when driving at night, and possible encounters with law enforcement.
memang idola la
Excellent
Sean you’re tinting Master,very specific ✌️
Thank you
@@WindowTintWarriors is the sweep removal the same process for the c8??
I just file them down and get coverage all the way around
Super detailed video.... watch those clips like you said they'll fall down and I like how you use the trim tool backwards had to do it today.. .
Bump the film up to middle of window then shrink the bottom. Less risk of burning lower gaskets.
Indeed you're way better than "C" from texas ! learned a lot from your videos 👍❤
Took my vet to a shop in NYC, and the job was horrible
I’m a beginner and this was one of the first cars I had to do, absolutely hard🤕
U still tinting?
I loved yours video to much Sir 🥰 I am always follow you but still can't open the door panel 😭😭😭

Do you use baby shampoo on all your films? Bros???
Yehp
@@WindowTintWarriors Johnson and Johnson baby...
At that % of tint, just put black vinyl on the windows 😂
It’s not that bad tbh. I have customers who are into double layering tint. I’ve done 5% windshields. 20% over 5% front windows .
JustACamaro 0 what a about liability on that dark?
