I live in Cali and find these all the time for the low can these be taken out to the ocean leaving out of Long Beach, San Pedro, etc. I know absolutely nothing about boats but I love fishing
I took mine into the Atlantic Ocean, but I wouldn't recommend going very far offshore or attempting ocean boating unless you're experienced enough to do it safely.
@@BrianMDIY Slap that over drilled restriction plate and get 9 1/4 dia , 3 blade, 11 inch prop. Max RPM will be in range of 4000 rpm at high RPM (with 3 large adults) but you'll feel the power to mid range RPM and taps out at high RPM. I've converted my 2020 9.9 Suzuki to full 20 hp and never going back to 9.9. I got 9.9 because I have 2 reservoirs near me that requires less than 10 hp engine. I just half throttle on them at max of 3800 RPM.
@@masterofnone2705 I'm pretty sure the stock 20hp has a 10" prop. Looking at mine, I know a 11" won't fit and I doubt a 10" will either. I mounted a stainless that is the same diameter and pitch as OEM and I'm happy with that.
I just love everything you build... it's my dream.... I hope I can get it next summer...👍👍👍... thanks for your time Sir...
