You guys need to carry some hiking sticks! When my husband and I backpacked into the Grand Canyon, the sticks were a God send. Saved the knees and prevented several falls by helping with balance. We went down the South Kabob trail which was very rugged with many boulders we had to step down from. We came back up the Bright Angel trail. We were carrying 40-45 pound packs at the time. Dont think I would have made it without the hiking sticks. I probably would have broke something, lol!

We were only there for a short while but definitely want to go back to hike! We have watched videos on the South Kaibab trail & it’s gorgeous but very challenging. Love hearing that you did that!
