The only difference is that Darkstalker’s peers inflated his ego by telling him he could, and Qibli’s peers demolished his ego by telling him he couldn’t. Is Qibli’s tragic childhood that traumatized him for years… the one thing that saved him from following Darkstalker’s footsteps?

Would he be that ambitious if everything was alright for him from the start? Would he still even go to jade academy or would he have become another of the talons of power? He might not even be loyal to thorn, as his mother would never have sent him to the outclaws. His childhood had a large impact on who he is and how he thinks, and I don’t think you can change that without making him a whole new character.

Plus, there are literally other more powerful magic out there, so why would I want bs animus magic when I could have a persona, stand, or devil trigger that can literally rewrite or reset reality and time.
This fandom desperately needs more Qibli-Darkstalker fanwork. The amount of psychological conflict between these two is extraordinary. There is so much morality questioning resulting from it that makes it so special. Qibli and Darkstalker could have turned out like each other if things were just a little bit different for them, and yet they stand on opposite sides of the same coin. I love how this represents the chapters 28-31 of book 10. He literally trying to manipulate Qibli to take his offer to be an Aminus like- BRUH! But hey, Atleast he rejected it. Darkstalker got his karma and got turned into Peacemaker 💕
I like how similar Darkststalker and Qibli were, both having an abusive parent, both making the choice of right or wrong, in the end Qibli chose the morally right option
This was awesome a slight critique though nothing hostile is just that when he says golden it should have zoomed in on Qiblis earring also my favorite bit in the 2nd arc is just this whole talk or when Darkstalker just straight up says I can help you find which one of them you will get together with and indicates towards Qibli and Winter to moon
