I love how your videos encourage folks to move beyond kits and pre determined designs to use their stash and be creative. It's so fun and satisfying to make a truly unique quilt and your ideas are beginner friendly too. Well done Fallon!
Fun project! I just found your channel in my feed and I'm so glad! I enjoy your obvious enthusiasm and creativity! As far as your favorite layout...hmmmmm. I'm thinking it's the last one but they are all fun.
I love that one too. And flying geese. I think I want to try this idea with thinner strips and smaller patchwork pieces. Then have the flying geese move in different directions in each row!
Totally love all these blocks. Look looks a fun project to do. I favor the last one the best. Im thinking you may of choosen this last one as well. 🤷🏼♀️. Thank you for sharing your video with is.
This is my favorite block. The possibilities are endless. I love the last one. It would be great in a large quilt. I think if you make in just a couple color ways it would fantastic. Now to go and check my stash and see what I can come up with. ❤❤❤❤ I think the last one is your favorite.
Great idea for a quilt. It’s a doable pattern for a new quilter. I really like the chevron n the last picture but all the layouts are beautiful. Love all your videos.
Yes! You are right! Either the last one or the one with the diagonal lines! I haven’t decided for sure but those two are a close call! I really love them all though. HSTs are so fun!
Thank you for this video!! I love it. I think I like the flying geese layout best, but it's hard to choose! Please show us your final decision after you finish your quilt!!
I really like the versatility of this block. With so many scraps you could make stacks of blocks. Then when ever put them together when you need a quilt changing up the pattern as you go. I like the 2nd one. But could use several of them thanks. Show us what you decide
I love the last sample. I think you will either do the diamonds or the last one shown. I may make this using scraps with more blocks. Thank you for sharing
I can’t really pick a favorite because I don’t like the gray fabric. But it is interesting to see what you can get with your method. I’m wondering what it would look like if you took that 12 x 12 and instead of just cutting on one diagonal you cut another diagonal line to get you more half square triangles
I can understand that! It’s always hard when you don’t enjoy the colors chosen! I think it would be a great idea to sew and cut in both directions to get more blocks!
This was so interesting to learn this different technique I love it! I liked them all but my favorite is the one with the diagonal stripes. Was this your favorite as well?
I'm excited to try this! I prefer to make scrap quilts, even though I've saved some wonderful patterns to buy. What is the quilt on the wall with the red stripes?
I really love scrappy quilts too! The quilt behind me is my large plaid quilt. The tutorial is here ruclips.net/video/FJVQ1RpQRBw/видео.htmlsi=vB0z94Vk-cfnspEh
Do you get all of your strips sets out of the same jelly roll or did you cut it from fabric yardage? Also, Where would I find the directions on how to cut the squares for the different blocks that you showed the different quilts thank you Pam
Great question. This was all from the same jelly roll. I found one that had all neutral colors. It was a great assortment. I snagged it from a @sewyeah live sale.
Love the reverse V and the whole concept of the half square triangles and the strips! This is now on my list to make.
Thank you!
I like the last one!
The first layout is my favorite.
Isn’t it fun! I loved all the different patterns that appeared.
I like the last 2 the most. 😊
Thank you for watching!
My favorite that is the last one.
My favorite first flying geese
Good choice! I love flying geese!
I love all the layouts. Thinking last one is your fav.
Love the first two you showed, but all are amazingly beautiful!!❤
I liked #2 the best. I think you liked #1
I also like using what I have on hand. Thank you. 😊
I like the chevron at the end.
Me too!!! Thank you for watching!
I love how your videos encourage folks to move beyond kits and pre determined designs to use their stash and be creative. It's so fun and satisfying to make a truly unique quilt and your ideas are beginner friendly too. Well done Fallon!
Thank you so much! I find it so rewarding to figure out a new quilt with only what I have on hand!
I like anything that I can create with what I have!

First one is my favorite. Also like the diagonal one.

The first one is my favorite. But I also love flying patchwork geese.
I love that one too. And flying geese. I think I want to try this idea with thinner strips and smaller patchwork pieces. Then have the flying geese move in different directions in each row!
I like the last layout best. My second fave is probably the first one. I would be happy to receive a quilt in any of these layouts. They are all good.

I agree! They are all really nice!
I like the first one and think you might be leaning towards the last one
I really love how the patchwork comes together in the first one but I am leaning toward the last layout or the diagonal one.
I love the last one very much! Love your video's
Thanks so much 😊
The last one is my favorite too! That one or the diagonal lines!

I liked the last one and the first one was a close second. A great pattern. Thanks for sharing with us.
Interesting! So fun to try the different layouts. My fav would be the V shaped, the last one.
I loved that one too!
This is my favorite block. The possibilities are endless. I love the last one. It would be great in a large quilt. I think if you make in just a couple color ways it would fantastic. Now to go and check my stash and see what I can come up with. ❤❤❤❤ I think the last one is your favorite.
I want to make the last layout in some rainbow colors! Or maybe ombré
I loved the last layout and I would definitely make more blocks so that secondary look comes together.
Great idea for a quilt. It’s a doable pattern for a new quilter. I really like the chevron n the last picture but all the layouts are beautiful. Love all your videos.
Thank you so much Linda!
The 2nd one was my favorite, then the last one. I think you're leaning toward the last one.
Yes! You are right! Either the last one or the one with the diagonal lines! I haven’t decided for sure but those two are a close call! I really love them all though. HSTs are so fun!
I love this ❤ thank you
My favorite is patch work coming together
And I think that is yours too 😂
I really do love them all, I think I have decided to sew the diagonal lines.
I just made another quilt from your channel I’m really liking this channel and going to make the one u just put on today and I like #1 out of 7 thanks
I am so glad you are enjoying my channel and quilt ideas! Which quilt did you just make?
Love your Demo!! First time I’ve watched you and I’m excited to go try this and of course I’ll be watching all your shows ❤️❤️cherie
Love this! All the layouts are awesome! My favorite is the first one. I think that’s the one you are making. Am I right? 😊
Thanks for watching Kris! I really am having a hard time choosing. I think I might go with the diagonal lines.
I loved them all but the first and the last were my favorite. I would love to see it bigger!
Great video! I like picking layouts. My favorite was the diagonal one.
Thank you! I am trying to decide between the diagonal and the last one… the Vs
Thank you for this video!! I love it. I think I like the flying geese layout best, but it's hard to choose! Please show us your final decision after you finish your quilt!!
I definitely will update!
I liked the diagonal striped design, although all of them look great. Thanks for the video 😊
You’re welcome! The diagonal design was one of my favorites too!

The 3rd layout.
Thank you for sharing. I love this video . The variety options awesome. I think the diagonal is your choice
Thank you so much!
I love the last sample. I think you will either do the diamonds or the last one shown. I may make this using scraps with more blocks.
Thank you for sharing
I think this would be such a fun block to use scraps with!
Love #6. Hst’s are my favorite thing to make and Im still loving your trim tools!! I really want the 5.5 one but it sold out so quick!!
We are hoping to have them back in stock soon! I love HSTs too!

@@sewbeitquilts I am going to try that with some charm packs I have and some Jelly Roll strips. I need to make a cover for my princess Juki TL 18. 😂😂🤣
Could you have made pinwheels with those blocks???
Yes!
@@sewbeitquilts ok cool. I’m trying to master the pinwheel so I’m all into them right now. Thanks.
