- Milo demonstrates how you can use a pressure chamber and compressed air to achieve bubble-free castings using the duoMatrix NEO polymer-modified gypsum system.
Some complicated mold designs have a lot of tight spaces making it difficult to get a pristine casting surface by simply pouring and slush casting. Pressure casting is an effective way to get a perfect casting every time, greatly reducing the overhead cost of having to scrap imperfect castings.

I L-O-V-E Smooth-On products! I've used plenty of them. One I haven't used, but would love to own, is that on-its-side pressure pot. Too bad I can't afford it right now. Some day!

Smooth-On sells a product called Aquacon. For molds that are too bulky for a pressure chamber, would rinsing the silicone mold with a coating of Aquacon before pouring in the gypsum system be of significant help?
That flashing light in the left of the shot during the beginning of the video look like a flux capacitor.
it is the case, they mentioned that in their previous videos if i recall correctly
I purchased this same model from your location. Can you make a video showing me how to mount and level the pot in both ways please. Thank you I cannot find anyone to help me.
This is a great idea! We will forward it to our video team. In the mean time, can you send us a tech ticket? Our team can help you - www.smooth-on.com/support/ticket/add/agree/
Is the mixture a substitute to plaster of Paris?
This is a much stronger material than plaster of paris.
Does the prssure pots can be used for the silicone to reduce the bubbles ?
You can pressure mold, but care needs to be taken to ensure that distortion does not occur.
Can you disconnect the air pump, and still leave the pressure in the pot? For longer cure times, like four hours..
You will want to keep the pump attached, in case there are slight leaks in the hose or fittings.
When I use the blender there are a loooot of bubbles even if I put them in the mold and vibrate it they never end , any solution for this problem 😢
