I'd like to hear them duet in an environment that isn't so terrible for the singers acoustically. Pausini had a hard time here, imo, and I saw even Fabian wobble a bit in another piece. They plain couldn't hear themselves, I'm sure. They did fantastically, but I'd like to hear them in a more hospitable environment.
They both complemented each other. Lara has a far superior lower tone but Laura has such a wide vocal range that they both just sound great together. if they wouldve both sang in better conditions(notice they are singing just outside on the spanish stairs in rome) it wouldve been perfect

I prefer the original version (Italy) with Laura Pausini at Sanremo 1993.
Lara could have over sung Laura if she really put in the effort. The duet is good but I found Laura nearly screeching by end.
