      Hi! Yes, as with all our fly reels the NOVA is good for saltwater use, but as with all rods, reels and lines they do benefit of getting a good rinse in freshwater after each outing in the salt. //Henke GL

    I'm confused. I just got the 810 reel and there is no cartridge to remove as shown here??

      Hi! The NOVA fly reels in #46, #79 and #810 do have normal spare spools, and the NOVA #68 Cassette has a different spare spool system. Check the video at 1:10 and onwards. // Henrik GL

    The 4/6 or the 7/9 for the Guideline LPX coastal #6?

    • @Guidelineflyfish
      @Guidelineflyfish  21 день назад +1

      Hi there,
      Thank you for reaching out! While the 79 offers more line capacity, it will feel heavy on the rod. The NOVA 46, on the other hand, will provide better balance on a #6 rod, and is therefore our recommended option.
      Best regards,
      The GL Team

    If they are robust and have a good drag, I'm in.

    Does the reel have a clicker or make much outgoing sound? I have a Halo and it is very quiet.

      Hi Martin, Yes the NOVA has a clicker sealed inside the braking system. This protects all moving parts in the reel but also lower the sound on the clicker.
      It’s still a nice sound in the real in our opinion😊. //The GL Team
