One of my good friends borrowed me Mega Man 8 (12 years ago) and I found the game in the basement last year. I called him, so we can play it like good old times. We started the game together and played it after 12 years on my old PS1. The last time we played was a couple of months ago and the current save state on my Memory Card is still there, where we beated 6 bosses. Yesterday I got a call from his brother, that he died last week... I knew him since 2005 and he was only 28 years old... but I will continue our savestate in honor and playing it by myself like good old times, when the time is right! R.I.P. Michael
I warned many people from taking the needle. I wanted to avoid the losses as much as possible, but unfortunately they took it, and as expected losses occurred. Stay safe my friend and I hope you really enjoy playing this great video game for your memories. Be strong. Btw I also had it on the PS1.
If you came looking for an extended version of the opening of Megaman 8 it is because this video game or its music have a special place in your heart. I started playing megaman/rockman on the NES console, megaman 1, 2 and 3 were the only company I had from the ages of 7 to 10, later, in 2000 at the age of 14 I worked packing products in a supermarket for customers and I received tips that I saved and I was able to buy my Play station one, the first game that crossed my path was Megaman 8, I was going through a deep depression and it was as if Megaman rescued me again, When I tell this anecdote to people I usually feel judged and despised because no one believes that a video game can get you out of bad times, Megaman got me out of a lot of sadness and playing it got me away from negative things that were beginning to invade my life and that's why I have a lot of love for everything I have to do with megaman, the classic saga and the X saga. Peace, love and many hours of fun with megaman from Mexico City. Sorry for my bad english✨✨✨✨

Extended versions aren't usually my thing, but this one? This one sounds professional. I'm genuinely impressed with the smoothness and the quality of this loop. Very very well done, SoFla!
I never forget this opening music, as well as the animation. And the Japanese version is pretty much equal, although I would say it was an absolutely timeless lyrical track. I listened to it first in 2012 or something but it felt like I already knew the song despite only knowing Mega Man through the X, Battle Network and Zero series soundtracks at that time. I did own the English Mega Man 8 though.
Hi solar flare and Man where does the time fly hearing this beautiful masterpiece from Mega Man 8 opening intro theme and mega man 8 is a personal favorite of mine from ps1 era and I grew up with the mega man series franchise as a kid who grew up with the original ps1 console and mega man 8 holds a special place in my heart from my childhood and such a godlike awesome game with a beautiful soundtrack and so nostalgic and one of the best games I’ve played on ps1 and I still have my black label of this game to today and I always treasure it every day and I also love the GameCube,ps2,ps1, and the ps4 remastered version of the game and keep up the awesome and amazing work on your channel and your channel rocks and roll.🎸❤️💕❤️✌️👍⭐️
Man I love this theme! Would you be able to upload a version with the first 25 seconds also in the loop? It cuts off at 2:24 without looping all the way back to the beginning, and I really like the whole song looping! I would be grateful if you could please do that!
It's also funny how both the English and Japanese opening themes are both awesome in Mega Man 8. And if anyone thinks that's BS, the Famicom demake includes both opening themes in the opening sequence.

By far, the worst US/Europe dub theme I've ever heard, I'm seriously gonna have to spend like over $200 for the original Japanese release, since that theme ("Electrical Communication" by Ganasia) was way better.
Emulate it. There’s an undub patch that restores the song and the Japanese voice overs in the cutscenes. You can get it prepatched on some sites so you don’t have to do it yourself. Save yourself the cash
