You will always get the " Sensitive mob " , so I wouldn't worry to much . I'm out in the bush a fair bit up here in north QLD with the dog and most of the time you don't see snakes until your nearly on top of them. If I ever see one in the garden , he gets clobbered with a 6 foot piece of garden hose.
