bro hope you can reply and help me, theres a little blue cable coming from the buzzer, it is connected to a micro pin on the motherboard... I was taking it apart and it broke on me:(
What does the little blue cable do for the speaker is it ground? would it work if i just solder it? thanks

Will this battery replacement compromise the phone to be non water resistant?

My battery exploded in this proces😅luckily it started with smoking and heating up first so that gave me enough time to bring it outside. The positive thing is i know exactly what to do to fix this: buy a new phone

Can I do this with a basic phone opening kit and a hairdrier for the heat? Do I also need something to glue the battery to the phone or should I focus on just using adhesive when putting the back lid on? Thanks!

i find that the sony models are one of the hardest phones to remove the battery on, so i wont really recommend it
the ahesive is so strong it tends to break the lcd display when removing it

Don't you faced with the problem when battery icon always shows 20% after battery replacement ? Battery is charging, remaining time is changed depending on it. Everything looks okay. but indicator always on 20.. No idea, reset it several times, connect and disconnect battery.. no luck.

BEWARE !! It is not a good guide at all, first of all Battery should have been unplugged to eliminate risks of shorts during all the other work, 2nd the way this guy is taking out the battery is aggressive and could harm your phone's chassis or motherboard or for sure the screen, he should take out the motherboard before and then it's more easy to take out the old battery.
