I think the reason why Kyle was so strong and cheerful was that he was continuously eating. A ride of this distant is an ‘eating contest’ so chapeau to him for doing it right.
Congratulations! Your dogged determination to finish that ride in spite of the pain is admirable. I hope you’ll take a bit of time off the bike to recover.
Well done Amy, you should be very proud of your PBP ride and the fact that you were riding the same day shows what an amazing cyclist you are. Safe journey home!
Your reward for riding and finishing PBP is to ride for a couple more days.....yep, that checks-out! An amazing experience, thank you for recording and sharing! True legends!
You all look knackered except for Kyle. Love it that you're still able to make such a good video and still be so happy, despite the obvious pain. Rest up 😊
Thanks for another great update Amy, ive now decided you have a top hubby and he is a real gentlemen , also NIGEL IS A KAREN 🤣🤣🤣👍 well done all , even moany Nigel ........ YIPEEEEEEEE, DING DANG DO 🤣🤣👍
That song takes me back to my School days. When I was about 8 or so. You wasn't even born in the 80s which makes me feel old. It's good to see you smiling again and I'm sure you will be back in the saddle soon another great video
Hello Amy, Watching you all riding along was reminiscent of quite a few rides I've done when all the banter / conversations stop and everyone is just focused on getting home as they were all very tired... Enjoyable viewing, thank you. Take care. Paul,,
"I don't want to see another baguette in my life" hahaha. That's my favorite line. I too ate sooo many baguettes on PBP, it was just crazy!. But also, yum. I'm glad you were able to get back on the bike the next day. Thanks for sharing.
Very well done hope your aches and pains 😂heal up soon you poor thing and Kyle looks thinner so must have worked so hard with those huge panniers! 🎉🎉🎉😊
Massive well done to you both Amy you did fantastic chuck . Don't think there any saddle that would of done job on them kind of miles day after day ,wishing you a quick speedy recovery
Amy is the most cheerful from all the team 😅 congrats for all of you! Amy is speaking about returning to PBP, what an experience it must be that you want to repeat all those sleepless nights 😯 Amy ask wonderful Mr. Nigel is it possible in 4 year to prepare for PBP with sub zero experience in long cycling whatsoever 😅
"My yippee is depleted" I think that sums it up. Nige is apparently in various states of grumpy all the time LOL. I use a small bluetooth speaker to play music while I ride, and I highly recommend one. #Rapha sponsor this girl; she represented your gear very nicely on this adventure. TTFN and rest that bum and your legs please
Great work the both of you! What a champ Kyle is supporting you through that, and your a star for pushing through all that pain. Keep it up. Ps...I love a long ride, but 1,200km?, I'm out 😂
Amy -- before your next ultra event, it's time to get a proper bike fit. If you're well setup in your position on the bike, you should not be getting saddle sores. Anyway, your effort was amazing.
Well done for getting to the finish line what with all the pain you are having go and buy a new saddle and put the old one in the bin. Well done to both of you.
With the amount u ride u need a proper bike fit, bicycle in Richmond is very good but also expensive and far from u. But imo it's worth the money and travel
Blooming heck! I rode easy 20 milones Friday, 50 at near FTP yesterday, 25 easy today and planning on 60 hard tomorrow. My codloins were screaming at me yesterday. I can’t believe what you did at PBP but hoping to do something like that in the future. I need to build up a little more. Yippee! Love the content
As a keen listener to Radio 4 Women's Hour I became aware of issues you might face under the general description of 'saddle sores'. The lady interviewed described - and I quote - having a flap like an elephant's ear Look up an article in The Guardian by Olympic and professional cyclist Hannah Dines -her name plus 'swollen' should find it. Karl, NO! Naughty. Botty burps on camera are verboten
This squad is fantastic. Not only riding PBP but riding to and home as well. Legendary!
a guy from Wrexham cycled to PBP and then cycled back lol
The Audax Club Portsmouth riders rode there and back as well.

Now we know why Kyle was so fast he was propelled along by his own exhaust gas😂 💨
Congratulations! Your dogged determination to finish that ride in spite of the pain is admirable. I hope you’ll take a bit of time off the bike to recover.

Haha thank you 🫶 yes it was a pretty tiring ride back!
Nice one,you look knackered 😂enjoy your beer.💪
That's true love that is at 12:50. Kyle takes the blame for you to spare your blushes
Probably Kyle was so fast to get away from the singing. Excellent achievement everyone
Having been caught out too, vaseline, aqua cream and any moisturiser will substitute for chammy cream
Forgot to say you just have to reapply often apart from vaseline
When I saw you were cycling home I wasn’t expecting it to be the next day 😂😰
😂😂
Congrats to you both. The inevitable question you will ask yourself now is "What's next?".
More Shammy cream

Your first yippee of the morning sounded like Nige's bugel ... a little out of tune, but it was great anyway
😮🫣
Have you see @katie video last week with Nicky Shaw ? She used tattoos numbing cream for chamois cream on her long rides
Someone send Amy a new saddle 👍🍑
