Reminds me of a lionfish! this shirt is sooo beautiful, reds and greys are one of my fave color combos and i think i'll be reaching for them again! thanks for the inspiration as always
Hi Angie, as you know I love all of your content and your work. it is all beautiful, but I must agree with all the other comments. this is probably the best tie-dyed shirt I ever seen. I love how the dye flows on this design and the colors everything about it is perfect. I think I might try this one out myself. I can only hope it turns out as good as yours. as always, thank you for all you do for us. tie-dye lovers 🥰
I’ve lurked on.your channel a lot as I’ve been playing around with ice dyes. This is the video that made me want to comment enough to subscribe. Stunning! But i also wanted to thank you for your thorough explanations and your calm confident voice. I appreciate your sharing so much!
Oh, I really love this shirt. LOVE the fold and dye flow. Oh, and if course the colors you picked. I do love the colors and how the grey compliments the red. Another OUTSTANDING shirt! Thanks, Angie! I appreciate all you do, coming up with all your content and posting!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you Angie for sharing this shirt with us. I love the dye movement in the shirt. I love the colors. I think you knocked it out of the park on this one.
Beautiful! Thanks for the tip on using larger chunks of ice. If I do this in cooler weather, how long am I looking to keep ice on the shirt before I put it in plastic?
Red & gray=inspired! I am going to attempt to ice dye a large white denim jacket; any tips? I just received my first order of Dharma dyes; what a great bargain! I can't wait to try them out. =)
I absolutely love red and gray together. Dharma has ice dyed swatches available on their website so you can see how pretty most of the grays split. My only tips on ice dyeing a denim jacket are to not leave the jacket in the soda ash solution longer than about 30 minutes (you don't want to corrode or damage the metal buttons) and it will take quite a bit of ice since denim is so thick. Otherwise, have a fun time - I'm sure it will be beautiful!!! 😀
Angie I think this shirt is absolutely stunning. You really hit a winner with your design and your dye colors. Thank you so much for sharing this!

I used Dharma’s black cherry and gun metal on a colander ice-dye spiral. It is one of my favorites!

I'm sure it was gorgeous! Those are two of my favorites for color splits. 😀

Thank you! 😀 I'm glad that helped. I usually keep adding ice until the dye has reached all the way down to the edge of the shirt.
very nice
could i use ice with soda ash in it?
I don't see why not. That should work just fine.
