Ah, the confidence and hope we have for our TBR's and future reading plans are commendable. Not always realistic though 😂 We can at least try our best 💙
I really need to read some T.Kingfisher! I've got quite a lot of their books and I really feel their an author I'm going to love, yet I haven't picked any up yet! I did lol at A Little Life remembering how vehemently you did NOT want me to read it hahahaha! Intrigued by the readathon! If you need a sounding board for prompts etc, you know where I am!!
I agree! After listening to them chat about their books I was immediately intrigued And I will probably hit you up about the readathon haha thank you ☺️
When it comes to hex, that goal was definitely accomplished imo. The witch was no where near the scariest thing in that book. It was so good though! It’s a five star for me!
So many books that are also on my tbr! And I think Hex is actually a series (At least it says so on goodreads). I don't know if you've read Into the drowning deep yet but it's my favourite book and the audiobook is great!
@@itsbells It seems that there is a second book but it's only out in dutch for now. And I would be thrilled if you tried out Into the drowning deep, from what I seen of your Videos we have quiet the similar taste in horror! ( it's also sapphic and has great asl rep if that helps)
Haha ok you telling me it’s sapphic did indeed get me to look up Into the Drowning Deep and put it on my never ending list 😂 I love ocean stuff so I’m definitely intrigued
Can you offer a name or link to the podcast you listened to with T. Kingfisher please? I have a hard time doing fiction on audio but I try to find audio books for walking or driving time. Two my favorite narrated audio books this year were Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman and, and I know, this one seems like such a random topic but trust me, it was fascinating - Owls of the Eastern Ice by Johnathan Slaght. One fiction (middle grade) that worked for me on audio was The Way Back by Gavriel Savit, a dark wintry hero's quest story based on Jewish folklore. Wonderful narrator.
Oh yes sorry! I’ll update the description too. The podcast is called Talking Scared ☺️ Thank you for all the recommendations! I haven’t read Norse Mythology and do love my Neil Gaiman 😏

Right! When I was watching this over I was like “that’s a lot of books for four months” 😂 happy reading love 💙
Pretty sure Gideon the ninth will be one of my top reads of 2022!
It was so much better than I expected it to be!!

Robin Hobb's series is one of the next on my list, just so you know. Guess whose fault it is
Omg yay!! I hope you like it (and obviously spam me with your thoughts)
And that’s right ! I remember that book I will actually write it down 😂
