The "disposal of the catalytic converter" can also risk confiscation of the vehicle, this applies to both cars and motorcycles.

They did not remove catalytic converter. That big box is resonance chamber (silencer) only.
I much prefer the sound of the stock exhaust, but the look of the Jekyll and Hyde muffler.

I have the J&H on my 1250, it’s a perfect match and really nice to ride it on ‘silent’ on the highways where the Akra always bothered me.
