Thanks for comparing the two and taking the time to produce this video. I think that the best thing about the new 900GS is that it made the 850GS a great and affordable second-hand bike. The 900GS is a departure from the comfy 850GS used by riders who rarely do anything more than gravel and fire roads (that's me by the way). The 900GS is clearly off-road focused and less long-distance tourer. hence the smaller fuel tank, small none non-adjustable screen and no rear rack. I am in the market and the 850GS (or even the 800GS) are now higher on my list.
Hi, V-Told, Thanks for your sharply analysis of the two bikes. Nevertheless, a doubt remained. Can both bikes take a passenger ? I ask this because of the red stripes on the back seat of the 900 GS. Cheers 🙌
Hi V-Told’s I’ve been following u, since 2021 when I decide to buy my motorcycle, but now I’m trying to decide to buy another one, the new F900 GSA. So I would like to ask you if you could make a review of the Adventure and even a comparison with the 900 GS or better with the old 850 GSA. Greetings from Mexico. 🇲🇽
its quite simply really, just like in their cars they are taking out features, and deceptively cutting cost. They are becoming greedy!! So these days I don't feel so bad for their nation's economic disparity, if it can only put a huge dent in their greedy pockets. I almost fell for buying a 2022 S1000XR but it had faults surfacing throughout the test drive. Then the sales person decided to lie to me. So I walked across the hall to their Yamaha department and bought a brand new gen3 Yamaha MT09SP instead. The Yamaha has not once been to the dealer for any work to date. I have flashed the ECU, I have replaced the exhaust and deleted the CAT. With $11,927 miles on it, it remains flawless. Not something I could ever say for the S1000XR which had faults and error codes even during the test ride.
So you know the lower seat for f900 breaks the bike’s ergonomic and it is so hard. I am 5’9” and i prefer the normal (taller) seat then the seating position is better and more confortable on the road.

Hey! Another great review. You mentioned that there are better bikes in the segment. What are they, may I ask. Thank you!
Nice comparo my man!
Those chairs look amazing...but when I looked them up, they cost just as much as my vstrom 😂
The F900's subframe looks like a homemade replacement somebody built out of square tubes from Home Depot.

Very interesting direction BMW is going in. Keen to test ride one but I think I'll be sticking with my F850gs

Hi, can you give us the exact measurement of the ground clearance of BMW 1250 GS & GSA. PRELOAD AUTO/MIN/MAX
Tiger 900gt pto still rules
yeah but numerous reviews mentioned it throws dirt in your face from below through the helmet...something to do with crazy aerodynamics
You have to come to a complete stop though to change from road to off-road mode which is super lame.

It feels different...... technical term
My bet is on Tiger 900RP
