As soon as one stitch breaks the whole seam will open. Better to do a real 2 thread baseball type seam than cheap out like this.

Very nice. The only problem I can see is that you'll be working on the bottom of the clutch side grip which would be very awkward. At least on the throttle grip, you could turn the throttle and hold it in place while working with a throttle stop or some other rigged setup.

Bob, While you can install them with the stitch line facing down, 99% of our customers ask to have them installed with the stitch line facing straight back.

Needle choice false, you must Leather needle

The needle being used is a leather hand stitching needle.
