That’s neat that you have a connection with her. She was quite standoffish with Homestead Horsemanship. Not their fault, they cared for her faithfully until it became painful for her.
@@katyratyra I have an idea tthat Luna actually fell in love with Michelle when she came to help with her feet and that's why she didn't really connect with JR and Emeri. She was waiting for her family.
Luna is a beauty and a sweet soul. She cooperated better when one of the kids was petting her nose and talking to her. I’m sure the treatment bothers her, but it was sweet to see her respond to being comforted by a little one. I’m glad she’s with you. I remember you came to the Rosas to help out early on. Luna is in good hands!

I drifted here from HH and Iove Miss Luna. It's wonderful that you & your family have already bonded with her and I'm pretty sure that she has with you, as well. The Freeze spray seems like such a great idea, sort of like a nitrous oxide, freezing the Canker, which will hopefully kill it, and acting like a numbing agent to help guard against pain while you do the rest of her hoof treatment. She won't be afraid, nor associate footcare with being hurtful. I could just hug everyone of you! I'm so happy for Luna and I know she can already feel your love and affection. Plus she got a boyfriend out of the deal! This is the BEST NEWS, EVER! BLESSINGS!
I encourage you to stay with them! They offer a great home for many horses and their business is necessary in horse world. If they aren’t trained well they end up in bad situations so what they are doing is giving young horses to best opportunity to have great homes for life! A good start and training keeps the horses at a lower risk of abuse, neglect, and slaughter pipeline!
