Arguably, my favorite Tekken character. I first played him on a emulation of the PSP version of Tekken 6 and never looked back
bruh that bear combo had me shook for a moment. i did NOT know that worked on bears. i know they had some ridiculous combos for then but jesus 💀

I love this T-Rex man. but I find that having to hold down a directional button (on pad) to be in savage stance after certain movements give me a bit of a bad execution habits especially when a lot of his move like DF1 goes into savage if you hold it down
with practice it will come out, it was also difficult for me because they are very similar but I realized that you have to let go for a second so that he does not do the pose.

Same thats why I had a hard time when trying to learn other characters with different mid string inputs (Marduk, his df3,1 is different from his df3,df1) As a Miguel main its hard to shake off that habit but as whats been mentioned before practice is key
@@Camper7760 I stopped playing miguel and focused on other beginner friendly character to first help me get good with the fundamentals
You don't hold df1 down - you hold forward direction after doing the df1
I wish I would have picked Migel up sooner 😅 hopefully he will return. I've played hei for the last 20 years. I have played most of the cast but for some reason never even considered Migel. I accidentally hit random at character select I didn't know anything except what I had labbed to counter him and now I'm really enjoying him!
That last combo is actually mind blowing
67 of counterhit hatchet... holy smokes I already thought it was good enough just to get svg df2 by itself... how insane. Also his 3,4 is easily one of the sexiest moves in the game.
700 hours on him and I've never thought of integrating the taunt in a combo, I'm a fake Miguel main.😂
There are a few missing CH launchers here that were covered in the previous combo video:
* CH SAV 4
* 1, 2, 1+2 (CH last hit, his most damaging CH launcher)
* b2, 2
There's a CH Rage Combo that I've been using more recently for screw launchers after discovering that a jab after df4,1 floats them enough to land the Rage Art:
Screw launcher (SAV CH4 or ff3 or f2, CH 4) > db2 > df1 into SAV > df4,1 > 1 > Rage Art
You can also substitute SAV uf3 instead of df4,1 for more damage, but landing the jab afterwards gets a little more finicky. You can also land the Rage Drive after a dash, but the timing is a little tight as well.
The taunt to df2 + 1 catches the best of players

Isn't the wall combo 1, df1~f, sav2 inconsistent on female charatcers ? It drops almost everytime for me so i always go for 1,2,1+2.

Does anyone know if there's a trick to hitting the df2,2 in the combo that starts at 00:22? I've been playing Miguel for years but I can't get that CONSISTENTLY, haha. Just seem to sometimes work and sometimes not, can't see the difference.
i’ve been playing him for about a month, it’s hard to do consistent but you can’t really buffer the moves so you gotta just do the db 2s quickly and ff 2,1 needs to be done relatively quickly after the final db2
How do I hit ff21 after ch sav db3 at 4:37 more consistently?
Practice! Its not so hard as landing ff21 after sav1,1, but doable anyways =)
I’m a little confused on that input to use after that low sweep. You go from the low sweep to cancel it and circle, X what’s the Up directional and star for to cancel?
The star input means that you don't input anything, so if u see a star in any combo, it means that u don't press anything for a split second, if that makes sense?

2:57 You can use uf1 as an alternative to SAV 2. Damage is lower (42 damage), but it allows you to go into SAV while your opponent is down.
With how far the opponent is thrown with Savage 2, you can get back to SAV rather quickly with 3+4. You have an insane okizeme game with uf1+SAV, though, especially with SAV UF3

bonus one, you can pick up after CH b+3 with df+2 if you don't wanna go into SAV.
For some reason, I'm just waiting for you to use f,f2,2.
