Armor king is such a beautiful character. He has the Mishima's wavu wavu and King's signature throws. I hope in tekken 8 he has wall throws, more air throws and chain throws. Most of his moves has already stolen by the golden boy king. He needs some love from Harada.

I was just thinking of learning AK. Thanks to your video I'll probably just stay with Asuka or Eddy. That combo list is crazy , are you kidding me? I can never execute that. I've just started playing tekken though, your combo videos are really helpful.
Just a mention.. after screw on bears BK (uf1+2 hold) is guaranteed regardless.. and at the wall if you do d243 as a wall ender BT 3 is guaranteed on bears :)

If you want to forgo the Shining Wizard you can sneak a Shadow Lariat after db24, also while I was practicing it, I noticed that I didn't have to dash into db24. You can wall carry if you do a shadow lariat instead into Oki. I dunno if this is practical, but wanted to share in case anyone wanted to try it out!
@mini nuke it's really a timing thing. Usually once you do the hop kick, you have to input it before you completely recover or land, and you can manage to hit it. Personally wouldn't use it until you get it to perfection. But that's my advice to input the command before you land completely
uhh the combo at 0:45, the shadow step into shining wizard, you said sidestep left but it doesnt look like you sidestepped at all, also do you have any tips for hitting the CD1 after the jab in the Dark upper, CD1, jab, CD1 combo
He's doing the sidestep really fast. You just tab up, you're not holding it. If you don't the shining wizard doesn't connect. Both CD1s have to be very quick. You need to learn the timing by doing it often and you need to get a feeling for the recovery of the moves you do before them. If they don't connect you're too slow. If you get df1 or just a one jab, your Input was too early and ak still recovered. You can't buffer CD moves. I hope this helps you in some way
combo at 0:35 does 7 more damage if you replace the last 2 hits with blackjack combo, or 1 more if you miss the last hit like I usually do 😅 combo at 2:26 can do 8 more if you SW after the tailspin combo at 2:37 does 3 more if you do crouch dash 1 into blackjack combo instead of the SW (also more wall carry potential)

CD1 is range dependent. If you can hit CD1 at the tail end, D3+4, 1 will pick up. If you hit CD1 at the beginning, then probably better go for D4,4,4 for some damage
Anyone know how to connect the fff24 when they midair? Maybe its bc i play king as well so the tempo might be off. But any tips on trying to connect it? Im never consistent with it

As an Armor King player, I don't think that is true. He can do big damage with or without walls and with infinite space, can play into his strengths with superior whiff punishment and good range and approach tools. Also without getting cornered by the wall as he is weak to close range poking pressure and rushdown.

Good stuff but there is one misinformation: db 2+4 throw at the wall is only +10 on King and ak and even worse on bears with pity +8.
After db1+2, you can get a ssr shoulder to catch a tech roll

Easier combo to do after F,f3, d2 = dash 1+2,2 d2,4,3 for 66 dmg. Don't know why it's not listed. Skips all the sidestep jumbo for almost the same dmg

More damage combo for big boys: fnddf+2 > fnddf+2 > f2 > df3 > bd2, 4 > fff2+4 = 74 damage
The hop kick to lariat is so difficult I tried doing it but can't connect also the same with dark upper to lariat

You are probably inputting 2+4 too late. After the tailspin, run in and hit 2+4 just as you reach their feet falling. Hope that helps
