This was a great episode from the first season with a back story that’s more relevant today as it was back then you can see that the powers that be didn’t like Kojak because he was highly intelligent and capable police Lieutenant who actually was interested in solving crimes versus sweeping things under the rug and sending innocent people too jail just too close cases no matter were the evidence lead Kojak .they cut this clip just before Kojak goes into the squad room too tell his men that they have 2 days too solve the officer murder before internal affairs takes over which is the most powerful scene in this episode.✌🏿who luvs you baby.

The late James Luisi as Gino- BTW, in addition to playing heel Lt. Doug Chapman on The Rockford Files, he also portrayed baddies on Magnum P.I. and The A-Team!!!

To commenter POWELL,JAMES LUISI was quoted as saying if actor TONY FRANCIOSA can act well then so can HE! The old timers of EAST HARLEM would talk of FRANCIOSA living in the corner building of 116 street and PLEASANT AVENUE and of course LUISI was born and raised on the blocks between 119 streets/123 streets somewhere between PLEASANT AVENUE and 2nd avenues but not sure of actual location* and also BOBBY DARIN some books have noted lived about the corner of 125 street off 2nd avenue and HIS grandmother (not sure from his mother or fathers side) lived between 2nd avenue/3rd avenue and 117 street (building is no longer there) and BOBBY/GRANDMOM also in EAST HARLEM* also ED SULLIVAN lived in 114 th street I read somewhere around or between 1st avenue/2nd avenue also EAST HARLEM* all this info just in case there are a few commenters who might be interested-thank you for your comment of JAMES LUISI to MICHAEL POWELL!!
