Actually the problem starts in the home where these women are having multiple children with different men, and then the kids grow up in a household with a postive father figure, there's no structure, no discipline, and no focus on getting an education, these kids run around doing whatever they want and then when they get killed or arrested they wanna cry about it and blame someone else

This is sad but what we are experiencing in most urban cities is generations of queens making bad decisions concerning their desire to have children without being married and therefore accepting living environments that are filled with gangs, drugs, violence and poverty.

But now the schools have adopted policies that reward bad behavior, aren't effective at teaching kids reading and math and then pass them along to graduate without the ability to earn a living or control their tempers. Couple that with police defunding and weak prosecution, it's a perfect storm for an absolute disaster. It will take decades to solve and generations of determination to overcome. That's not going to happen.

I remember being a teenager when rap got popular. Run DMC, Fat Boys, Rob Base & Will Smith had fun music that was very positive for the most part. Then came 2 Live Crew and a few years later, rap culture was co-opted by hip-hop culture. We started seeing the music change with groups like DMX and others showing off more of a thug-life attitude with lyrics about guns, territorial boundaries and a total disrespect of women. It's devolved even more over the past thirty years to what we see now. Black American culture, IMO, has thrown itself back 50 years with no outside forces. It's a damn shame for the few who actually try to succeed because they end up piled into the rest of the losers. City policies are doing nothing with the money given to help solve any problems. I've see it in Philly - where I lived my first 55 years.
But it can't just be handouts. The people in the neighborhoods need to step up and show they really want change. Every video I see in urban areas has trash strewn all over the sidewalks, tires piled up on front lawns, etc. Clean up your mess and show your children how to do the same. Have some respect for what you have. Earn that respect from others by showing you're not just another ignorant person just waiting for a handout to get by. Pride is what makes people overcome obstacles. Fail once - try again. When you succeed, you'll feel amazing.
I remember watching the news when I was a teen in the 80s. Every day, the older people in the downtrodden neighborhoods would say they won't stand for it and the youth just kept doing the same stupid crap. Violence, disrespect towards authority, etc. It hasn't changed. That was nearly 50 years ago, and things are still just as they were - even after all of the social advancements POC have had/earned over the past few decades. Sometimes, you need to really look into the mirror to see where the problem lies.

Philadelphia it’s gonna be a long summer. Bring trades back into Schools , the school system from elementary school on up every inner city kid from the time they are in the first grade trades should be mandatory. But it’s much more insidious And much deeper then the Surface level of the streets, I’m talking, underhand politicians and nefarious plan hatched many decades ago. I followed your advice. Took me awhile. I was a restaurant delivery driver in Overbrook Park from 2012-2022. Two hoodies stole my Camry in 2019 following a fake delivery order. Two more hoodies carjacked my Honda Civic in 2022.
Two months later, I moved to a gated community in Florida.
No suspects and no weapons means they will do it again.

EVERYTIME. now before i get canceled . i only do this when it is a bunch of single mother, bonnet in public, son out during school hours black families. If i see a black family that has a husband and wife and they both work. They are MUCH better to be neighbors with.
